Default The flooding hit my house!!

There have been dire warnings about spring flooding in and around my area, and we managed to escape it....until this morning.
DH came home with the groceries and a new water bottle for the dispenser, which slipped out of his hands and...CRASH!
You guessed it - 18 litres of water all over the kitchen/living room floor!
We have used every towel in the house, dirty and clean, to mop up the mess.
All the towels are presently in the washer/dryer, and my kitchen floor got a much-needed wash!

Oh, Donna what a mess. Not something you want to happen on a good day, but certainly not something you want to deal with when you aren't feeling good. Hope the rest of the day goes better for you.

I just hate it when that happens! The Florida and Caribbean sunshine will make everything much, much better! Come on down!

There should have been a disclaimer on this post.............I have some one living lower down than you , we were looking on the net, saw your post, they ran to get their jacket, keys and rush home to deal with flooding in their home.........she was going out the door, then some one else said "not because of the freaking river, its a water bottle".....................

RD - at least it's just nice clean water - probably wouldn't seem so bad if you weren't sick, hope the antibiotics are working!

We have a few new "water features" in our yard from the snow melt, I only hope the Great Lakes are benefitting from all this water!
