Morning All, from a dark and dreary Montreal. Rain all day yesterday, and this morning, I see snow flakes drifting down again.
Will it ever end???
The plan for today is to dig out some summer clothes and decide what to pack, as I won't have much time later in the week.
I am still battling this throat thing, just intense pain, no real other cold symptoms. Debating whether to let it be or go sit at the clinic for hours and get a strep test. I'm just tired of being in pain.
Another hot one here in Florida before the cool front comes through tonight. Looks like a nice day to hit the pool. Right now Jake is taking a little cat nap since he was up real early. Then we are off to church.
RD, I'm usually one to let things just run their course when it comes to not feeling up to snuff, but in your case, I would recommend heading for the clinic. If you suspect that it might be strep, you don't want to mess with that. Get the meds, and take care of yourself. You be cruising soon!
Morning from the Pacific Northwest.........we were mid to upper 70's yesterday........hope we see some of that today......it's 40's already so hopefully we will........
Good morning Donna, Phyll, Sharon and all of our friends to follow. It is sunny for now and cool but it is supposed to rain this afternoon. I am going to venture out and try to get to Mount Vernon somehow to see the sights there.
Have a wonderful day!!!!!!

Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.
Good morning from Southern California where it's another day of temps in the nineties.
RD, I hope you follow Phyll's and MissKMM's advice and head for the clinic.
Michael, have fun today. I didn't get to go there when I was in D.C.
MissKMM, nice to see you posting.
After a round of newspaper reading and the crosswords, we plan to head for Newport Beach to enjoy the balmy weather and the ocean view for some lunch and shopping.
Good morning from a beautiful central Texas where the temps are in the 50's with a nice breeze.
Yesterday all four of us worked together to get the house in order. It included the inside and out, and things are really looking better.
Jim and Joe went to get some outside stuff including a bird feeder for our little tree. The inside of the house isn't complete, but it sure is better than it was.
Today I am going to do little things, but mostly rest my back, which continues to give me fits at times.
I hope all of you are doing well.
Donna, please get well. You are running out of time for your cruise. I wouldn't want you to still be sick.
good Morning here is the sun for those who don't have it!
RD hope you will get it checked out. No fun going on a cruise and being sick. You want to enjoy Caribbean Princess. I would still ask the health provider about the Z pack, wouldn't hurt, and it works really fast.
Phyll, hasn't our weather been fabulous! And tomorrow it will cool down again and my morning walk will be nice.
Good Morning, more like afternoon. Was out the door at 7 Am to meet with another finance officer, then groceries, and setting the table and so on. Had to move furniture and such. Even with the middle leaves in the table, I needed to add a table for tonight.I didnt want to, but now the table has much more breathing room.
RD, go to the ID clinic at the hospital I go to, they open at 8 AM, get there for then , they will do a rapid test and you will be on your way within an hour, 2 max. The MD comes at 9AM, so if you are there for 8AM, you will be first and out of there by 9.30, then with the rapid test you will know if you need RX. Better safe than sorry with going away.
It has snowed a little, its cold and dark, well glad for the cold, its keeping flooding to a minimum, but still.........spring sure is late. The flooding is a real concern, a friend has moved all her stuff out of the basement. Yesterday she almost went flying home after reading RD's post.........it's stressful, but if we can have a few more melting days but cold nights she should be OK. This morning while in wallys world parking lott, I saw Canadian geese flying over head. So we must be getting spring other wise they would not come back! Unless they were the ever hopeful stupid ones............
DS was happy yesterday is as well today. He is working now and will come home to his favorite which is Turkey. A turkey for a turkey I used to say when he was little!

If it's strep you better get an antibiotic ( I am a nurse). My hubby & I went to Walgren's today and bought all of our "little incidentals" for the cruise. Been counting from 372 days and only 34 days (May 17th) until we saill the Caribbean Princess from NY, not too excited!! I just found out though, there's not a retractable roof over the pool, guess we will be a little chilly sailing from NY, oh well!! Hope you feel better!

Rain, Snow, Sun, Rain Snow, Sun, Rain, Snow... it is a weird day. It is in the 30's and windy. After the little taste of spring we had last week it is hard to bear.
Church this morning, then had an errand this afternoon. Caught up on laundry. Hard to really get motivated today.
RollerDonna- feel better soon! You need to be able to enjoy your cruise
Luanne - glad your house is getting back to normal, and that your luggage arrived.
