Amsterdam is crisp, started with 3 C, it will warm up to 10 today Whoohoooo!!
Carole and Earl fly home today, they had only rain on their rivercruise, I spoke to Carole last night, they did a lot of walking and sightseeing yesterday and they were exhausted.
Work is busy, I am sneaking in for a few minutes.

I hate Mondays, you have to get up earlier than normal, go to work and then you have to wait another 4 days until the weekend. I have thought that it would be better if we worked 4 days and were off three, but then I guess that I would hate Tuesday. Oh well, Monday it is....Off to the salt mines I guess that it is a good thing that I like my job.
You all have a great day
Irish 8)
May you enjoy the four greatest blessings:
Honest work to occupy you.
A hearty appetite to sustain you.
A good woman to love you.
And a wink from the God above.
In the east there is a bright orange glow that will soon bring a new day. I can see the outline of two deer in the field as they try to get a few bites of new grass before the daylight puts them on their beds for the day.
From across the field I see my neighbor's car lights move down his driveway as he leaves to go fight crime for another day.
Me, I'm just sitting here drinking coffee and listening to the early morning sounds of the house.
There isn't anything scheduled for today so I basically have free pass to do whatever I want. Who knows, maybe I just will.
Take care,
Mike

Good morning gang. The sun is shining and it's a cool 65 out there this morning. I know that doesn't sound cool to most of you, but compared to the last few days here it is. I love this cooler temp so no complaints from me. Rosie the cat is lying here next to me on the sofa, snuggled up and purring.
This morning will be breakfast with my brother Bob, and then playing at the park with the Head Start kids. It's nice to be busy.
It is grey and 34 here, but today is supposed to be the worst day for over a week...we are on tap for some sun and 50-60 degree weather. It will be welcomed with open arms that is for sure.
Nothing set in stone today. Lot's I should do, we will see what gets top billing.
Mike - good for you - spend the day doing what ever tickles your fancy
Phyllbo - your day sounds like it will be fun and fulfilling!
MissKmm - welcome back
Jacquie - have a great week
Irish - you are right, loving your job certainly helps
Good Morning from Kansas where it's a bit chilly this morning but suppose to warm up to 45 degrees. After today, we should start seeing some more spring like weather (according to the forecasters) I do hope they are correct!! It would be nice to be able to go outside and start working in the flower and vegetable gardens!!
Not much else to report so I wish everyone a great day!!
G'Morning Mates from beautiful downtown Lakeland, where it's a bit cool for here, 56 degrees F, and overcast. Just the start of another fascinating week at work. At least I'm not on stand-by this week so it should be a bit easier.
Hope y'all have a great day, and week to come!
Good morning from central Texas where it's a very cool, 40 degrees.
We worked so hard this weekend to get the yard up to snuff, with all the house plants on the porch, for their summer stay, and then was told of the frost warning, and had to bring them all in again. The new flowers that were planted around our little tree now have a tarp over them, for protection.
No work for me today, because except for one or two people, no one knows I am back, so I plan on using this week to get some things done.
I found out this weekend that my new Mustang has a recall on it. It says something about having a small female in the passenger seat, and the airbag crushing them. Funny, but I don't know any small females, but I guess I had better get it fixed, in case I meet one.
I sure can't have it looked at today, because Jim has my car. We have named it Ellie for the car on the movie "Gone in 60 seconds" That car was named Eleanor, but had a bigger engine, so Ellie for smaller engine.
I wish all of you well, including Donna. Get well soon!!
Morning all, from Montreal, where the sun is back, but the warmth is not!
It's only 2C (35F) and supposed to go up to 8 (46).
Forecasters are promising highs of 18 or 19C by the end of the week, which will take us into the mid-60's. I'll believe it when I see it!
Yes, it's back-to-work Monday, but this week I am staying home, tomorrow as well, to give the antibiotics a chance to make me non-contagious!
They are working wonders already, as I no longer feel like I am swallowing sharp knives, just golf balls now.
Plenty to do around here, as I got nothing done yesterday. Housecleaning and starting to pack are at the top of the list!
Good Morning all you nice people (and any crabby ones too ). Working at home today, Marj said as she trudged off to work while I was sitting up in bed on the laptop going through my work mail that there is somthing wrong with this picture .
Spent the weekend working in the yard, Marj standing over me making me dig new trenches around the flower beds. Next week I will be hauling mulch around. The fish are getting lonely but I think I can sneak in some trout fishing time on Friday. So far the score is Trout 1 Doug 0. Hopefully I will do better when the flounder season opens in May.
Not too long before Barbados!!!!
Everyone have a great day.
Bomba Bar, Tortola, BVI (a place Marj Says I will not be allowed to go to )

MD is giving us trouble with sex, drugs and rock'n roll as they would say
She needs to stay away from her "friends". She is leaving in 5 weeks...I hope I can endure it. I cried for an hour last night. I feel so helpless..
Take care mates!
Donna at least now you have time for packing..have a fun cruise!
Good Morning, Also lovely here today, walking in 60 degrees this morning, felt good. Tomorrrow they are projecting even cooler temps. Love this Florida weather.
RD, Give yourself some time to relax and so you can feel better soon. don't over do it.
MikeM, I liked your discription this morning, I could picture those deer so vividly. We don't get deer where we are now, only possim, racoons, and birds of all sizes, including a few sandhill cranes, who are strutting around showing off their latest hatchling. So cute.
Well its MOnday, so on with the day. Wishing you all a goodo ne.
Good morning from again, rainy, Virginia Beach. I have already been to the gym, the bank, and bought some groceries. Our taxes were finished this weekend and boy am I relieved!
Good Morning All!! Just back from my weekend job. I have been busy all morning. Day off today and friends coming over. Going to lunch together. It will be the last time I see them before they leave to go back to NH for the summer. They do 6 months in each place. Have a great day all.
Laura

Our glorious weather continues. The low last night was 45 or so, with high temps reaching the mid 70s. And miles and miles of sunshine! DH and I were flitting about, all weekend. We simply couldn't stay inside.
Today will be filled a lot of this and that.
Everyone make it a good day!

Good morning from Southern California. After the last two days of temps in the mid-nineties, the predicted 80 today will seem very comfortable.
Sunday, we thought we'd get some relief from the heat by going to Newport Beach where it's usually about 20 degrees cooler. Guess what? It was 95 there, too!
Sharon is right. It's Monday so it's laundry day. Also, Keith is making noises lilke he wants to go to Pasadena today for some nuts and bolts for his what I call "mystery project."
Good evening gang. It was cool and clear today. I drove to Baltimore for some training and it was quite a trip as I was driving in the early dark of the morning in a strange new place.
