Default carry on bag

how big can your carry on bag be? the same as on the plane?

Yes: The carry on bag that you bring onto the ship can be as large as the one you take on the plane. It will have to go through a scanner that is similar to the ones at the airports.

Default Must Fit in the Overhead or Under Seat

If your carry on doesn't fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat...you will have to check it. This has happened to me a number of times on the smaller commuter jets. I carry the standard 21" wheeled carry on - no problem on the larger planes, just the smaller ones. Call your airline w/flight info to find out for sure.
