I know these are not cruise photos, but they are photos from our camping trip last week-end. I started out with over 400 photos and have scaled this down to 150. It will take a few minutes to look at the whole album, but there are some really good shots if I do say so. Enjoy if you want to and have the time. Do the slideshow, you can adjust the speed of it. Thanks for taking the time to check the photos out.
Wow, you sure have a way with the camera! You should be a wildlife photographer!
I especially loved the sunsets, particularly the one of Buttonbush Marsh, simply spectacular.
Thanks for sharing floridanamaw!
I bought a canon rebel xti digital slr, after the first of the year and have been trying to learn to use the dang thing since then. There are some features I love about the camera, one being there is NO delay after taking a photo like there is on a reg. digital. You can snap, snap, snap. I love that. I have 2 different lenses that I use, that is the pain, you have to stop, take one lense off, dig the other out, attach that lense, put the other up. I was beginning to think I would never take a good photo. I took the canon with me on this trip and absolutely love 90% of the photos that I took. I think I am learning it. Do lots of research if you are considering one. One reason I went with the Canon was I already had two lenses for a 35mm slr canon that would work with the digital slr. You have to have a zoom, mine goes to 200 and I am looking at one that goes to 300, but that is in the future, they are not cheap. I as glad you liked the photos, thanks for letting me know. Makes me feel good about my photography. Good luck finding a camera.

Thanks for the info. My sil has a Nikon - that she bought last year. I liked hers, it worked really well and she took some wonderful motion pictures that come out so clear and it too has the rapid succession picture enablement. I used to have (well still do, just need to get it fixed) Nikon slr - w/ two lenses. I really liked it and it took some great pix - so I am used to switching. Of course I will always carry my exlim for those unexpected pix you may want to take, but I'd like to take some good pictures at other times and my little one just doesn't cut it.
I know the local library is going to offer a Digital Photography class this summer - I hope the dates and times will fit into my schedule as I really would love to take this class. Who knows I may just purchase what ever camera they are using since I will already have a jump on it.
