Default Is wikipedia helpful for cruise research?

Does anyone here use wikipedia to research ports? Do you find it useful from a cruisers perspective?

I enjoy going to the source, the web sites for every new port, to get the lay of the land, with sights to see, festivals, attractions, etc.

But really, we all can get any info we need right here, and if you don't find it, just ask. Plenty of willing and informative cruisers, will gladly share their wealth of info.....

I would not think it was useful.
