DH and I would liek to plan a European cruise for next spring. We usually travel Carnival but we do not mind trying something new. Any recommendations of great ships with even better itineraries. I am sure a lot of you have sailed through Europe. I have no idea where to start. Thanks in advance your advice.

I am heading off to my third cruise in Europe on Friday; all have been on Seven Seas Voyager. These are port intensive trips with no sea days. The ship is wonderful with only 700 pax and smallest stateroom being 356 sq ft including balcony. All liquor (except the premuim stuff) and all other beverages included and tips included. It is the way to go to see Europe. If you want to check them out, go to www.rssc.com.

I highly recommend one of NCL's ships in Europe. They have some fabulous itineraries. I just sailed the NCL Jade through the Greek islands, with a stop in Egypt and Turkey.

Freestyle works wonderfully on these port intensive itineraries.
