Thanks from the Chronicler

Just a note to say thank you to all those who posted nice messages about my six chapters of Bulgaria and France chronicles. I'm glad you enjoyed them.

I think it was Phyll who said I was probably getting as much fun from writing them as you all did from reading them. True.

The late pamda and I used to talk a lot about the special richness in travel when, for one reason or another, you're able to get a little beneath the surface of the places you visit. She'd have loved to have been in our suitcases for this trip.

So now it's on to planning the next one. This will be a year of devoting our travels to our friends. We may not cruise again until next summer, but we're looking forward to that as well.
