It was pretty crazy here for awhile this afternoon. Only been homr about half an hour and they hit, rain, wind and even hail....yard looks like a small disaster area, also lost power for about an hour....Anyone else have them come through their area?
HMMM,,,just another lovely day here in Central Florida... 8) Actually, we're into our normal summer pattern, with brief thunderstorms in the afternoon. Nothing like you folks have been getting, but at least some rain. Hang in there,,,it'll turn to snow soon enough.
Yep - hit my area around 7 p.m. last evening and lasted thru early hrs of today - we didn't have damage but I think there was some street flooding, people getting stranded in their vehicles and such. Some areas got up to 4 inches of rain.
Yep, we are having the usual late afternoon thunderboomers.
Last night a big one came through about 7:00 pm then another one after 9:00 I had to get off of chat real quick. the lightning was getting worse by the minute.
BTW there is a hurricane out in the Atlantic. off the coast of Africa, named Bertha if it continues to develop.
