Morning All, from a sunny and bright Montreal, where it looks like it will be a nice day, despite the ever-present reports of thundershowers later in the day!
Todd, you reminded me, I forgot to share with everyone that my hubby's tests all came back negative last week. The only thing they found, back in June, were the gallstones, and he's still waiting to see a specialist about those.
So thank you everyone, for all your concern and kind words!
I've got to get out of here early, taking the doggie for a good grooming (bath and a haircut) before I go to work. Hubby will pick her up a few hours later when she's all pretty and smells nice again!
Happy Wednesday, I need to take hubby for a good grooming It's really HOT & Humid here, but we're suppose to have rain again, suprise, suprise. I can't ever remember it raining so much through the summer before. Everything is growing like the tropics. Usualy cut grass once a week, after 2 days it needs it again. DH has to work in an unairconditioned plant in all of this heat. He's just drained when he gets home. We're ready for fall, cooler temperatures and our cruise. Yaeh!!!

Make it a good one.

Another hot, humid day in the 90's looms for Virginia Beach. Just think, in eight days, I will be on board the Grandeur of the Seas bound for New England@Canada! Hopefully, being further north, the weather will be a bit cooler!. Rollerdonna, it was great news to hear about your husband; our thoughts and prayers are with you. May all my fellow cruisemates have a day filled with health and happiness!
Hazy again out today, and that seems to be the trend for the summer along with thunder and lightening storms.
Things have been busy and hectic to say the least. The estate from the kid is now being settled and we are moving onto liquidation. We saw a decent enough studio apartment, it is a very large room, with long bright windows of about 12 feet, and a balcony that is the same length. It has a very small but very functional little kitchen in an alcove. A good sized bathroom, it will do while he gets through school. Its close to all busses and stores and just everything he needs.
My Mum, it continues to be hard but stable. It is difficult. She, we, still have the goal of one more Holiday season, I dont know if it would happen, but it would be nice. In the mean time, it is her birthday in a couple of weeks and I made reservations at a nice place on the water and they have ( through some connections I have)) given us literally the best table in the dinning room over loaking the water. Growing up, people only went there for a very special occassion, so for her it is a special place.
DS is doing great. He work eval was literally all excellent except for two very good's. ( excellent, Very good, Good, Need improvement and unacceptable) . There were aboput 50 categories. He forgot his lunch yesterday so I brought it and his boss said to me how well he was doing and how responsable etc. I was walking home proud as a peacock! Yes yes, I know I should not bring a 19 year old his forgotten lunch, but in hoesty, it is the first time he forgot it this summer.......so a Mum being a Mum, and the camp being so close.......... In three weeks University stars for him, I still cannot get around my son going to McGill. Not in a bad way, but it was yesterday he was a little boy going to preschool with a elmo back pack on his back!
Pups are all well as well. Lilly has been downright silly lately. Some times she gets this sudden burst of energy and runs like a baby lamb, she tuckers out quickly, BUT I know she really enjoys life now.
Really enjoying the new computers and everything is set up the way I like now.
Have a great day every one.
