At one point I thought my old nemesis REDZONE was back with us and I had a sparring partner but turns out he may be so busy he will be a hit and run poster. This is my opinion on that thread. We all know how a certain person goes a little nutty when Hurricanes are heading toward New Orleans. I say give her a couple of weeks, let the storm pass, get back on the meds, hit the shrinks office a few times and she'll be back. She was fun for a while but judging by what happened on that thread and ours, she wasnt' able to roll with punches and laugh at each other and ourselves.

I know people who have no problem joking about others, joining in the attack. But, as soon as you poke fun at them they get angry and want to kill you. It's sad they can't have fun.

Michael, resist the new car. what a waste of money. Never spend good money on things that depreciate. It is something that gets you from point A to B thats it. Everything else is ego (this, of course, should be considered null and void if you are buying a Vette!) My vehicle is a 2000 truck with scratches all over it from the hurricane 2 yrs ago, 3 different brand tires on it, 130000 miles has a cylinder out so running on 7 and on the side panal, my son, at 6 carved his name in it with a rock (then denied it) not little letters either. Guess what? it gets me where I need to go! Use the $500 payment you would have and buy more of that natural gas.

Well, my sleep patterns are all messed up! Can't go to sleep, wake up early..... etc. I give up! I woke up at 4:00 this morning and finally gave up at 5:00 and got up. I guess when I get sleepy, I'll go back to bed.

I've been working on travel plans for our various trips. Guess I'll pack a little more today. The thing that keeps going through my mind is "don't overpack, don't overpack, but what if, don't overpack, don't overpack."

NOW the bad news: I am supposed to leave for Savannah at 1:00 today but I had the tot yesterday and at some point playing around he bumped a tooth - one of mine - and when I got up this morning, I noticed that it is cracked at the gumline --- not sure if I can get an emergency dental visit ugggghhh. maybe a trip to the drug store for some tooth bondo

Morning All - I've been up and at 'em since 4:30 this morning. DH is gone and won't be back until ........... I don't know? - gives me time to do stuff that I want to do and need to do!!!!

Since I'm home alone for the weekend, I think I'll just kick back and take it easy - maybe do a BBQ, invite a few friends over but definitely not traveling anywhere this weekend, waiting until DD gets back from the sand - then I'll travel.

Need to get busy here at work and get major projects done today!! So I best get busy - everyone have a great day!!!

hey they do make tooth bondo CVS 5.99; just patched it up; got an appt for next week and I am still going.

ready: yep a lot of dough to fix teeth; I would have an extra 10grand if it weren't for the dentist.

I took yesterday off because I'm sick with a cold and dr thinks strep throat. Can't buy that one because I have NEVER had that ever in my lifetime. See I can't handle this cold weather since I got back from the cruise. I need to move to a warmer state....like FL!!!! I could always try to find a job in Jacksonville at the similar employer I am at now. Where is a good place to live down there?

MsBJ- so sorry to hear that story!!! A long time ago I popped a filling out and cracked the tooth at the gum line to a front tooth (because I had a bad habit of gritting my teeth when I get mad). Super glue works wonders. That CVS bondo is not going to hold very well since it is at the gumline. Dentist thought I was creative but hey it worked.

Ready - not much longer!!! Which I could be heading out for another already. You sure do have a good quantity of tickers. I am jealous!

I got an email from carnival offering me 50 per personoff my booking if I book before 10/2. Not sure if I can do it by then but will see.

bahama - great to hear from you again. Glad to hear the DD will be home soon - see we all told you that the time would fly by and she would be ok.

We will be going up to the boat this weekend. Just a short trip up friday night and back saturday night since he has to work sunday morning.

YEAH.. I'm a party animal. I'm taking advantage of every bit of summer.

Today I'm making prime rib for some friends and tomorrow I'm going out to the west side of the state to sit by the Lake Michigan beach and have a nice couple of days out there.
