Good morning!

Getting ready to hit the road again! I'm lovin' it!

Walter, I have the paperwork packed deep, but I think I remember. Don and I booked a back-to-back, Apr 10 and Apr 17. I booked DS, DIL, and PGB for 1 of those weeks. I think the Apr 10 week. Come with us!!!! That ship will be incredible!

Oh yeah! We had one really nice surprise. As we were leaving the ship, a porter came up to help us. I told him we would probably need 2, since we had so much luggage (6 of us) and several really big pieces. He told me "no" just point it out. We had about 10 suitcases plus computer, 2 C-PAPS, and small ice chest. He put all of it on the 1 hand-cart! Impressed the h@ll out of me! Also, 1 duffle was slow coming off, and he searched, until he found it! I tipped him $30. I parked in the garage, directly across from the ship, so parking was going to be $140 or so. He saw us as we were leaving, and asked if we had been parked there all week. When I said yes, he said "Here, change tickets with me. This one will only cost you $7."

Sweet! That $30 tip paid off well!

Well, Don has everything ready to roll, so I better join him!

what the heck I am gone for a morning and I check in here to only find that I have to PAY DOUBLE; whatever I am paying for it better darn well be GOOD (or very very bad)

oh my, I just got caught up with Luanne's tragedy; there are so many words that I just can't quite get the right words typed out to help her.... I think I will send her a PM that way if I goof it up the whole CM crowd won't see it.

Don is wandering around the USS Alabama and the other displays here at Battleship Park. We are slowly making our way westward.

Good morning HIH from Detroit... yep its 8 degrees right now. This morning when I left it was -5.

I'm not going to dwell on the weather. Instead, I'm going to focus on my cruise.. counting the days. planning.. My sharks have started the swim to my luggage.

James - drive carefully!!! Have a good trip!!!

Ready - Don and Mark would get along so well. He LOVES to do all that too. Last year while up at the boat we drove over to Cleveland to tour the ships there. I figure this year we will go to Toledo to tour.

Well, we did have another two hour delay this morning. We got a little bit of snow last night - it is so friggin cold. But the best is yet to come tomorrow and friday. Can anyone change this forecast? The NOID just does not like this cold of weather. And Dina - I just don't know how you do it up there!!!!!!

Tonight: Snow, mainly before 9pm. Low around 12. Wind chill values as low as -3. Light wind becoming west between 13 and 16 mph. Winds could gust as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Hi All,

I'm home and don't like it - back from my cruise where it was 80 plus in temps and now it's friggin cold here in Ks. I can't take it, I'm ready to leave and go to warmer weather!! Haven't read past posts so don't know what's been going on but I hope you all are doing great!

Well, I just entered another recipe contest. This is going to start to be a regular thing. I need to devote some dedicated time in two contests - which the biggest just opened up and that is the Pillsbury Bake Off.

I bet with all this cold weather a lot more cruises are being booked right now.

Howdy, from the Great State of Texas!

We got home about 9:30 tonight. We left Mobile about 1:30 and we stopped for about 30 min for dinner, and other than that, it was nothing but miles and miles of white stripes. My DH actually drove for the last 2 hours.

Oh well, I rest better when I'm driving.

Welcome home, Bahama! I'm not sure who it was, but someone left the stupid door open and let all this cold air in!

Noid, good luck with your recipes! This is perfect weather for experimenting in the kitchen. It is either that or head to the Caribbean!

Time to hit the shower and the sheets! Nighty-nite!

damn kidz... but i have to admit its not all your fault, i have to blame the american school system. you would think we could do a much better job teaching MATH!!! but at least in this case they gave you an imagination, so all i can say is that must have been some dream noid!!!

Good morning HIH

Who ever opened up the fridge door and left it open needs a serious adjustment. HAHAA I'm enduring the cold. Basically I go out in the cold as little as possible. I will be spending a lot of time inside.

A friend of mine is coming over from the UK in April over Easter. So it looks like I'll be taking a road trip to Chicago over night. I love Chicago... (my kind of town... Chicago is.. hehehe)
