The Curtain Falls On Wednesday As We Clear The Hump

Less than two days from now it'll be getaway hour for the Labor Day Weekend. As of next Tuesday, summer will be if not officially at least for all practicable purposes, in the history books for 2008 so this is your final weekend for grillin' and spillin'.

But first we gotta' get there. Now that Irish has his clock fixed, I 'reckon he'll be right on time of a Thursday mornin' with our wake up call.

You know, I too am waiting for whomever answered Welsh Lord's query on swimsuits that they went topless on the upper deck, to own up to it. But I gotta' feelin' we'll be kept guessing on that one....and all the guys will always be left with the hope that maybe it actually was the girl they wanted it to be.

Guess we'll just never know......but then again......?

Good evening from drizzly, Virginia Beach. Tonight we met a couple for dinner, down at the beach, with whom we met on our first cruise. I will always treasure our first cruise since it started a lifetime of love on the sea. By the way, this couple's daughter, knew our daughter at college!

Well, it is nightime in earnest here. A month ago it was still daylight.

As you can see from my signature, I now have a countdown clock. It am almost in a daze. I can't believe it and am excited, yet in panic mode as I need to accomplish great feats before I can go.

The older I get the more time flies

! It used to take forever to get through both the summer and the school year. Now it seems that everything is on "fast forward
