I'd like to take this opportunity to congratulate my dear husband on his retirement today from 39 years at Air Canada. Nice way to celebrate Labour Day!
We held a little family BBQ celebration last night in our backyard, and here is the happy fellow!

Please convey my most sincere contratulations to James. I KNOW he'll love retirement especially when you retire as well! As others have so often said, with every week being nothing but Saturdays, what's there not to love!!!
Donna and James,
We also wish you a happy retirement. After that many years you deserve a celebration! May you enjoy many years of being able to do as you please. Cruise when you want to, and do nothing but relax.
I am a bit envious. My husband is 19 years older than me, so he has been retired for a few years. I anxiously anticipate the day when I can retire too.
Congrats James, from here in Central Florida. I too look forward to retirement, but don't know how much longer I can hold out. I know you and Donna will enjoy every minute of your retirement, and the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I look forward to seeing you aboard another ship in the future.
Happy Retirement James------
Wish I was there to help you celebrate----but I'm sure we will be able to catch up on things when we finally get to cruise together again
cheers----
April
and Donna I hope you get to enjoy it too----
Congratulations James!!! Looks like Donna's got you set up for a car washing business - even with an automatic garage door opener. No idle hands around your house.

Congratulations, James, from both Wayne and I! And now Donna, the time has come for you to be wondering all day where James is and what he's doing ... because you simply won't be able to keep track of him Believe me, I know! That's one reason why Wayne keeps working at 2 part time jobs since he retired - it's the only way I can keep track of him
I am actually eligible to retire on October 6, however my wife reminded me that we have a little thing called a mortgage that we would never make without my full pay . I will have to wait until I am at least qualified for full social security in 2016
Technically I already retired once, at the ripe old age of 41 in 1991 from the USAF. The only problem is that my pension would barely last me a week in those days. So a second career was the answer.

Happy Retirement James! Isn't it neat to finally be able to do what you want to do? (what? Oh! Donna still tells him what to do?) Well, enjoy yourself. As I am semi retired myself, it is great to be able to stay in bed longer and have more leisure time.
