Default Its Tuesday

Good morning All

and a fine Tuesday morning to you all. It seems that I am first up this morning. I am not running late like yesterday it appears that I forgot to set my alarm. My D/W said that it is because I am already in cruise mode. Oh if it were only true. How I dream to be setting on my balcony with a Strawberry Daiquiri in my hand watching the sun set, Oh wait back to reality. I hope that everyone is having a great day. Well for me it is great. I woke up!

Got go, got to leave for another day in the salt mines.

Have a great Bama day

Irish 8)

May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light,
May good luck pursue you each morning and night.

Its still dark out, the summer sure has come to a close, one sees it with the darkness in morning and early evening BUT the days have been finally dry and wonderful.

Yesterday was a zoo, I stood in surgery for 6 hours, I had so much in the way of work to do, Sam in hospital and a meeting at the night, I rolled into bed exausted and today will be much the same. I have to go to hospital for me to get the porta cath needle changed, bloods done, get my butt over to the lawyers to sign some papers that is work related to the condo, then get to Sam.........My mother is holding her own, I go to Ottawa Thursday, a useless follow up appointment, as it is with the surgeon, and she already knows from the palliative care specialist the chemo did not help enough for surgery to be of benifit. I actually think she knew this before any one gave her the result.

Well, have a great day every one, I hope it is dry and sunny skies for all.

The sun is just starting to rise here in Ohio. It's a cool morning with temps to rise into the lower 80's by afternoon. I plan on trying to get some office work done today, it's beginning to pile up! Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning Irish, Delft, Travelgirl and all who follow.

It's another glorious morning in East Tennessee as the sun rised from beyond the mountains.

Today will be spent running errands such as taking two of our feline children to the groomer. First time we've ever done that so we'll just have to see how it works out. I don't plan on telling the two who are scheduled, Crown Prince Winston and Oliver the Precious. I'll also have to quietly bring their carriers upstairs from the garage. If they see them, the jig's up.

I'll have to be careful tonight. Instead of coming up on the bed and snuggling, Winston is more apt to sink his fangs into my jugular in retribution.

Blessings on everyone, and special helpings for those needing them. Hope your Sam is doing better today Delft and RDonna, we pray that you have awakened to a more comfortable day as well.

Todd

Good Morning from eastern Ks. where it was nice and cool this morning, lite breeze and temps later today in the low 80's. Abeautiful morning, wish I could have enjoyed it more instead of coming to work!!

Hope everyone has a great day, prayers for those who need them.

Hi Kids,
Bright sunny and coooooooooool today....and the leaves are showing their colors. This time of year always makes me sad.

I was not feeling up to snuff yesterday, so spent the day like a limp dish rag. I feel a bit better this morning, so I think I may run a couple of errands for supper.

I am reading Barbara Walter's biography, she has lead an interesting life ...it was a good book to read, because you can just pick it up anywhere, easy reading, yesterday I needed that......

Make it a good one.

Good Morning Cruisemates. It is a beautiful day here at the Ocean in North Carolina. I was a little worried when I watched the weather forecast last night. They were predicting awful weather today, but it looks like it is pretty nice out there this morning. I'm on my second cp of coffee and sleeping beauty is still slumbering, but the rest of the tribe is up and out of bed. D/S has forced d/h and into playing an early morning game of chess. He won...because I have no clue how to play chess and I follow d/s's instructions which of course gives him a bit of an unfair advantage. But thats OK.

They're talking about some pretty rough weather around here later in the week. We'll see if that happens or not. Hopefully we won't have to head home early.

We've been going down to the fish market and buying fresh seafood everyday for lunch and dinner, we had Mahi Mahi for dinner, scallops for lunch, and shrimp for dinner the night before. That has been a real treat we never get to enjoy at home. Yesterday we took the kids down to the fishing pier which seemed to at least a quarter of a mile long and tons of serious fishermen and women. at the end of the dock they were fishing for King Mackeral and that was exciting action for the kids to see. We enjoyed it too.

D/s had drawn elaborate diagrams of his crab traps, unfortunately, thats not going so well, he hasn't trapped any yet. But thats OK it keeps him out of trouble .

Todd's post reminded me, I sure miss my kitty. She is lonely I am sure. But we'll see her on Saturday if everything goes according to plan.

I hope all of you who are facing trials and tribulations find relief and comfort. Prayers are being sent your way. Take care.

Morning all. It's a beautiful day here, temps are in the 70's, for now anyway.

I've gone two nights with hardly any sleep and I am exhausted. My eyes hurt, my mind is fuzzy, and I have a headache. What a way to start the day, but here I am at work. It's a good thing I can do my job in my sleep. Oh well.

Where is RD this morning? She is usually one of the first ones up.

Everyone have a great day.

Default It's Tuesday

Good morning from sunny Southern California. Apparently, the overcast has been chased away.

The butterflies have started. That means that tomorrow is biopsy day. The trepedation is a little bit because of the procedure itself, but mostly wondering what that result will be. Scarey stuff.

I have a batch of ironing to do, so I can work off some of the nerves. Keith will spend the morning at his photography class.

Have a nice day, everybody.

Judy

Morning All, from Montreal, where, if I'm posting later than Judy, then I'm really late!
I'm a bit like Floridanamaw today; after 2 sleepless nights, I needed to sleep in, and boy, did I ever!

I will take it easy today, rest up, and try to line up some appointments with specialists. Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts, ideas, advice and prayers!

Trip, you feel better too, OK?

donna

Grood morning, but soon to be afternoon, from drizzly, mixed with sunshine, Virginia Beach. It was back to the gym this morning plus some errands on the way back. (I now do one fell swoop in order to save on gas). Last night, at work, I called a lot of people in the Houston area; many are still without electricity. My heart goes out to these people. Nature can sometimes turn in a very dangerous way. Rollerdonna, I hope everything went okay with your doctor appointments. May you heal asap! To all my fellow cruisemates, may this Tuesday be a great day!

Good morning all. At least I have about 10 minutes of morning left according to central standard time. :-)

Todd, can you post a picture of your kitties? It would be nice to see all 5 in one photo, but I'm guessing it would take a miracle for 5 cats to cooperate like that. :-)

Beenie, I saw those weather reports. Hope you just get to watch the huge waves and surf, and that it doesn't interfer with your vacation. All that seafood sounds yummmy!

Prayers going out for those not feeling well, and for those tending to others who are stuggling too. Judy, I will keep you in my prayers as you face the biopsy and the results. Waiting is always the hardest part.

Take care everyone.
Phyll

Good Morning cruisemates! (Wekk it's still morning here) Calgary woke up to a bit of a frost this morning, and temps are only heading into the high 40sF.

Had a Drs. appointment this morning to get refills on my meds. I checked out reasonably well. I was shocked when he told me I lost 3 lbs since my last quarterly visit. His scale must be broken

Heading to the hospital to visit my father who's been feeling much better the last two days. With some luck he'll be well enough to go home in the next few days.

Last night Kuki Jr and I installed the flat screen TV we had bought my mother for her 80th birthday on the wall in their family room. Now her family room is like going to the movies! Told her she's now more with it than me with the advanced technology.

Phyll,

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I haven't posted any pictures as I don't know how. If someone could enlighten me, I'd love to.

If you have any of your photos posted on any web based site you can post them in a forum. Open the photo, right click, go to properties, copy the url address, paste it into the message, highlight the url address in the message and click IMG above the message. Then preview, your picture should be there, then post.
If you don't have them posted someplace else, then to post in cruisemates gallery (personal gallery if it is not cruise related) you will have to resize the photos to no more than 800x600 ( I use irfanview to do this), upload into the gallery, then copy the url address, then paste into message, highlight the url address in the post and click IMG button above your message. It may sound complicated, but it's really not, once you have done it a few times you will get the hang of it. It took me a while the first few times I tried. Most of the photos I post now I already have on another site, like myspace, webshots, google picasa or smugmug. Good luck with the posting.
