Thank you Jen, today is the day!
We picked the 29th of Sept. to get married 7 years ago, because it would have been my parents' 50th anniversary, my grandparents' 75th anniversary and my aunt and uncles' 25th anniversary.
So far, it has been a lucky date for us too!
Also, since it was also James' birthday also, he'll have no excuse for ever forgetting our anniversary!
Happy Birthday James I hope it is the best one ever! Happy Anniversaryto both James and Donna. I wish you many more happy years.
Laura

Congratulations and best wishes to both of you for a wonderful day! James, just remember - you're not getting older, you're getting better. And to both of you, I'm sending a hug over the Internet - to say Wayne and I wish you the very best. I'm very pleased to have been able to share in that wonderful celebration 7 years ago ... but you have a long way to go before you catch up to us
Many, many thanks for everyone's kind words and good wishes for my b'day and our anniversary. Donna and I have been married for 7 years all of which have been the happiest of my life.
Kindest regards,
James.
Thanks everyone, it was a quiet celebration yesterday, with memories of the happiest day of either of our lives, getting married on a steam train 7 years ago!
As nice as that picture is, Donna, it's a pale reflection of how great the day actually was. I would be hard pressed to say what part of the day was most memorable - riding from Donna and James' home in a small, decorated yellow school bus, watching Donna come to the groom and guests riding the steam engine, the ceremony itself or the reception at the bride and groom's home. Keep remembering that happy day! As the old saying goes, it was the first day of the rest of your lives.
