Default Sad day in the office

Our office mood will be somber for the next while. One of our clerks teenaged sons came home for her birthday on Sunday and when he left to return to PEI last night there was a bad accident and he and his friend were killed and three others were badly injured. The whole office is reeling from the news. Sadly, in the past 12 months 29 teenagers have been killed in motor vehicle accidents in our very small province and this is not the first one to strike this close to home. Hug your kids at least one extra today, another reminder that we just never know. I hope that I can be the strength and guidance for my staff that they will need over the next several days.

How sad. I remember reading about the basketball team's min-van crash earlier this year that took the lives of so many teens in N.B. Tragic.
Prayers are with you and the family of your co-worker.

That is heart breaking to hear. I hope your coworker realizes that her Birthday was an important day for her son. May she take comfort in knowing that she was an important part in his life. Their just aren't words to do justice in a situation like this. Thanks for being there for her.
