Default Has anyone ever been on a whoduit murder mystery cruise?

Whodunit Productions does these kind of cruises for Canival and Royal Caribbean. Has anyone tried these? How involved were you? Was it worth it? Would you try it again? Has Cruisemates ever thought of setting up a group cruise on one of these? It seems like a lot of fun to me.

Does this mean no one has done this type of cruise?

Kat,

I know that it means that I would have no interest in it. I did a Murder Mystery weekend at a local hotel and it was one of the most "hokey" and boring times that I've spent. Some friends of ours had done it and raved. I personally found it pretty juvenile and that's saying a lot since I can be pretty juvenile.

Perhaps if there was one that was done a little better it may be worthwhile but this one was supposed to be "good".

It just isn't my cup of tea and I guess what some people love, others don't go for.

Oh yeah: The $400 price tag made it even less enjoyable.

Take care,
Mike

We did a murder mystery dinner thing. My hubby didn't like it at first. But the guy behind us was having a blast. He laughed at everything, no matter how stupid. That guy cracked my hubby up and he relaxed, in the end he had a great time. I would totally book this cruise is I could find the dude and take him with us. He just had one of those laughs that made you want to joy the fun. Sometimes you just have to embrace the silly.

Kat:

If you ask some of the CM folks around here you'll probably find that I'm about the least "up tight" guy around here and can be pretty silly but when it comes to something that should be somewhat professionally done I don't give as much slack. It really should have been well thought out and more of a chance to interact with other people. It was basically a slapstick game of Clue.

Now do a Tony and Tina's Wedding, Scavenger Hunt and I'm in.

Take care,
Mike
