Prayers for Kuki, and his family

For those of you who, may not have been following Kuki's wonderful blog about the NCL Jewel, I just wanted to let you know this was part of his latest posting..Please say a prayer for Kuki, and his family....This is from his latest posting.

After writing tonight’s blog entry I received an e-mail from my son informing me that my father is unfortunately in the hospital again. I’ve called home to get updated on his status, and will call again later this evening. Tomorrow is a sea day, but I believe I’ll likely be leaving the ship in Belize on Thursday, if I can make an air connection home. Until I know more I’ll suspend writing the blog, as I don’t see how I can keep it interesting and entertaining in my present state of mind. I apologize if I am leaving you hanging.

Read his Blog this morning and received the Sad news.

We may not know exactly what he and Geela will do until tomorrow after they reach Belize. IF they do fly back to Calgary I am hoping that they find his Father in fair shape. We are praying for them.

The Luncheon will go on as planned regardless of wether they will be with us or not.

Dear Kuki and famiy,
Regardless of the outcome, please rest and be reassured that you have been such a wonderful source of support to both of your parents. Sometimes things happen at the worst times. You have lived your life around your parent's health. I pray that you will find him doing better when you get home.

Hey kids... thanks very much for the kind thoughts. It appears we'll be contuing on with the cruise. If you want to know more details, you can read my latest blog entry... the ship is changing it's itineray to make things more convenient for me.

I am happy that conditions have turned to the best. We hope and pray you dad is gonna be fine.

If all turns out well we will see you, Geela and the Smith's on Sunday. All arrangements have been made and reservations for 20 have been confirmed.

Kuki and family,

Our thoughts are with you and your entire family. Both Doug & I are also extremely fortunate to still have our parents with us and also cruise with us.

We'll say a prayer for your Dad tonite over the candles... In the meantime, please try to enjoy whats left of your cruise.... or else your Mom is going to be really mad at you!!!!
