Default The One Cruise Ship That You Associate Romance With ??

IMHO, the very best part of cruising is the 8) Romantic 8) aspect ...since I am single that term has several connotations , but as I prepare for my upcoming Celebrity Century full charter Smooth Music cruise over Super Bowl weekend, I thought about how nice it is to be with a special love one and have the time to really focus on each other in the incredible atmosphere of a 7 day cruise

what one ship brings back fond memories of romance for you ?...in my case it was the Olympia Explorer in 2002 out of Venice

Ours was NCL Star 8 days to the Mexican Riviera, sailing date Nov. 1, 2005 same date as our 30th anniversary. The stars, moonlight, sunrises , sunsets, the atmosphere and the fond memories.

The cruise ships provide the place --- you and your special person provide the romance and fond memories.

Venice - thanks for asking.

Ours was the Radiance OTS some years ago for our 30th anniversary. That cruise still ranks #1 in my mind.

Well it was Hals Oosterdam last year to Alaska. It was so romantic walking hand in hand with my wife along the promenade. It was our first cruise and our second is only 10 days away. I just know the sparks are gonna fly..........MD

Oct, 2005, 8 day cruise with a wonderful close friend on the NCL Spirit. You never really know someone until you spend time away. I always thought cruising would be extremely romatic and it most certainly was. She loved it as much as I did.
58 yo single widower. Love to cruise and meet new people.

For me it's the Pacific Princess. I never cruised on her, but I watched her every saturday night on ABC. Boy did I love that boat.

Kat...you are not that old to remember the tv series the Love Boat ::, unless you were watching the reruns when you were 7 and dating that "older man" who was 8 ::

Venice, you'll be happy to know for me and the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) it's probably the "Century". We've sailed her several times and had a truly wonderful cruise each and every time. I know you'll enjoy "Century".

Marine, Pilot, Singer, Tuba Player, Carnival "Diamond"!

I have to agree with Kat - the Pacific Princess - after watching her sail away and have lots of adventures, I always said I'd be cruising someday myself.

The Paul Gauguin with just 320 guests sailing the islands of French Polynesia. Nothing like taking a wave runner around Bora Bora Lagoon or spending the day at a private island with waiters bringing the bar out into the water.
