Default Now It's My Turn To Ask !!!!

My son the USAF Major F-15 Pilot, left today for a mission that could be up to a year in Afghanistan...This weekend I went to Florida to celebrate an early Christmas and birthday for both my son and my grandson

Please keep him and all of our troops, and their families, serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan in your daily prayers

Venice, I'm glad you got to spend this time together, before his deployment. What is your son's name, other than Major? Also, please thank him for his service. I don't feel I can say that enough to these brave men and women, who are serving our country.

Canada lost 3 more of their best in Afghanistan a couple days ago.
My prayers go out for your son's safe deployment and return.

Venice-

I too would like to know your son's first name, to pray for him by name.

I will pray for he and all his family as they will miss him tremdously during the time he will serve the US in Afghanistan.

Safe travel for he and the others and may God send His special angels to protect and keep him and them, 'til they return home SAFELY!

in my heart and in my prayers

We donate to the USO a couple times of the year one of which is Xmas. They do alot for the troops. I would encourage everyone to visit their website and at least make a minimum donation. In short, anyone who can even consider cruising has the means to donate in my opinion. I know it's stating the obvious, but if it wasn't for the troops we wouldn't be cruising or doing any other free country activities that we all tend to take for granted.

Dear Venice,
My stepson deployed to Afghanistan two years ago at this same time.
Luckily, he made it home safely. He was an army sgt. Our thoughts and prayers will be with your son and his family. Also with you....It is hard for a parent at times like these.
God Bless the USA, and also our neighbor in CANADA.

May God always watch over you son and all the men and women deployed to this area. Also, may his presence always be felt by the children and families of these men and women.

Venice,

I'll be thinking of your son while he's overseas. I'll raise a glass in his honor -- and 3 when he safely returns!

Venice...

I know you're very proud of your son, and deservedly so. Your family will stay in my thoughts until he's home safe.

Venice- A big salute from this retired Air Force Master Sergeant to your son and prayers for a safe return. For those who ask your son can also be called by his nickname: Sir .

You got it Venice. Thank him for his service from me. Also tell him if he has time, to do a fly by over the pirates in the Gulf of Aden and blow a few of them out of the water before they hijack anymore ships especially cruise ships.

Difficult times, full of mixed feelings, I'm sure. Hang in there. The whole country has got his back, and yours.

It would be an honor to pray for your son, Venice. I will keep him in my prayers. I've noted it down, but please keep us posted and keep him at the forefront of this feeble memory of mine.

Venice

Prayers for your son, his family and your from this military family. I know what you are feeling but be strong we are all are here for you. We will pray for his safe and speedy return.

Yesterday we received the best news, my oldest son will not have to return back to Iraq or Afgastand for another tour as they allowed him to ETS YEA.
