Protect Men's Wedding Band

Hi, I have a random question that I'm hoping someone may have advice on. We leave for our honeymoon on Friday on the NCL Jewel and my wedding band fits a little loose. Since I don't have time to get it re-sized before the cruise, does anyone have any advice on ways to secure it while we are in the water and on the beach? I would like to avoid having to leave it in the room and thought maybe someone would have some experience with this...thanks!

Best suggestion - if you value the ring then leave it at home - you know you are married - why risk losing the ring!

Or leave it in the safe in the cabin. You are leaving cash and credit cards in it so why not your ring?

Any Jewelry store has those little plastic or metal adjusters to use on your ring.Tightens them up to however snug you want!

If all else fails, a little tape on the back will tighten it. I agree the safe sounds like a good idea.

I used to put ring sizers on rings all the time for a temporary fix, in the jewelry store. Saw some ring horror stories too....better safe than sorry...

Leave It Home or Cabin Safe.

You would be heartbroken if you lost it. Better safe then sorry.

I have to agree with Mike leave it in the safe. I lost my wedding ring river tubing. After forty years it was difficult to say good bye. The new one is nice but I do miss the old one. Mike

If you want to take the ring with you I would:

1. Leave it in the cabin safe when you go onshore.
2. Put the ring on a strong, but stylish, chain and wear it around your neck.

I have had my ring resized twice since I was married. Once larger and once smaller. It is a $70, in 1983, Goldbro, gold band but it's the most prized possession that I have.
