Default Venice look what I found......

An All Star Salsa cruise in 2009 on my beloved RCCL.

But it is only a 4 niter out of Barcelona.

Sounds like a ton of fun!

I don't know Venice I think I'll have to pass on this one.
Fly to Barcelona for a 4 nite cruise.

I'll keep looking for a dance related cruise out of FL.

There is a Soap Opera cruise on the Century in January a 4 niter.

Cameron Mathison from All my Children and Dancing with the Stars will be there maybe he can Salsa with me after all he did learn some great moves from Edyta. 8)

Good Options Venice and Snooze. Hang out on land for a few days or B2B.

I'll look into it.

I think I could "put up" with learning a few moves from Edyta myself.

CQ..and I bet not one of them can Salsa !!!!!

CQ..on a serious note...how often is it that you get to combine two of your great passions and see Barcelona at the same time..plus everyone on the ship will be doing Salsa 24-7 you would be on sensory overload (which is a good thing)..I know on my smooth jazz cruises, the best part is everyone is there for two reasons, the music and the cruising

the only thing better is to have Dave The Wave do a pole dance for you wearing a speedo with a very very very very very long string

Your right Venice the Hot Soap Stars probably don't dance. So they are all useless!

I gave up Soaps a few years ago but those women that do love the soaps it must be a fun cruise. Plus I already met the third one in the pics Don Diamont from the Y&R and I have a picture with him.

Are all these theme cruises usually under 7 nites?? Seems to be 4 niters.

Yep that is what it is all about the Music and Cruising. 8)

As for DTW...Maybe his girl Britney taught him how to pole dance with his long string.

Hey I got an idea. Go early and visit in Croatia then take a train from Croatia to Spain. We took the train from Rome to Venice and it was a great and comfortable ride. The view out the window is amazing. Here is a link to information on Croatian trains.

Thanks Kat for the idea but doing the Croatia/Italy trip is a whole trip in it self. I have family and friends in a few different areas that I would have to visit and would be very time consuming getting from place to place. That would be a trip I would not have time to tack a cruise onto.

Plus I like to spend a few days in Milan shopping.

I'm due soon for the Croatia trip. Probably 2010.

My family is from the island of Susak. There is one boat trip to leave the island each day if you miss it you are stuck until the next day.

Fly into Milan, then venice and Triest in Itlaly then in Croatia Zagreb, Rijeka, Losinj and Susak. It's alot of running around.
But the Croatian food and Homemade Wine is worth it!

How much would it cost to fly to Spain? Are the cruise rates reasonable? Maybe they will make it an annual event and we could start saving for next year.

The air is high. $1,469. roundtrip newark to Barcelona plus the cruise rate at $869. Over 2 Grand for a 4 niter.
