Remember back when you took your first cruise, you packed your 35mm camera, and your 20 pound cam corder?

Everywhere you looked this was a picture you just needed to take, on and off the ship.

Now we have digital cameras and cam corders that weigh just a pound. Are you still as vigilant about taking cruise pictures, or have you become blase about it?

Are your pictures in boxes under the bed, or showed off beautifully in scrapbooks. Do you snap away all cruise long?

A friend of mine, who takes about 500 shots every cruise, takes beautiful botanical shots. I have two, which we made in sepia tone, and I had them framed , and they now hang in my kitchen. His cruise, not mine, but lovingly admired

I must admit, we do take less, but we did get a real mini cam, so we shall see, next cruise So how about you?

I always take a number of pictures on vacation and cruises. Today I take far fewer than I once did. I found that taking too many pictures detracts from the vacation when you spend more time clicking and less time enjoying.

I also gave up completely on the camcorder. I really hate one eyed vacations and a picture says more than a two minute video. (I still do videos of family)

Trip, I don't take near as many pictures as I used to. Several reasons for this. Like Mike, I would rather enjoy the moment than look around trying to line up "the" shot. Also, it isn't as new as it once was. But I still try to keep my camera with me, for those once in a lifetime moments!

We take a few. Recently, we were in Tortola and I told my husband not to lose the chip and he did. Losing battle sometimes.

My hubby is the picture taking and he does an amazing job. I put up photo albums on this website. My hubby has made calendars from his pictures. Also I'm hoping to get one of those digital picture frames so I can enjoy my cruise photos at work. I think for us the new lighter digtial cameras make it easier and we take more pictures then before. Plus our Cannon Powershot can take videos so we don't need a camcorder.

I don't even know what a camcorder is! I used to be the 35mm person. Once I had rotator cuff surgery in the early 90's, my picture taking became limited. Even with the little digitals, I still have problems holding a camera. Keith does most of the photographing now.

I love to snap photos but everyone just gets so peeved at me for taking them. I have gotten some of the best shots ever while driving down to Key West - postcard/picture perfect.
