Default Cases of Norovirus on Crusie ships apparently way down!

According to even the figures posted on even an anti-cruise web site, the reported cases of intestinal illness on Cruise Ships is the lowest since before 2001! And this is not taking into consideration that the probability that there was a significant increase this past year in the number of folks who took cruises, which would make your chances of becoming ill even smaller.

Statistically at least, your chances of getting the norovirus on a cruise ship are very slim indeed. Your own neighborhood on the other hand.......

Now, as soon as a passenger shows any signs of Noro they just toss them overboard.

Ok... bad joke! (but I couldn't help it)

I think people are washing there hands more and being careful. Like the common cold it is hard to avoid completely but with care you can improve your chances of avoiding a norovirus. Mike

Todd, you crack me up! What the heck is an "anti-cruise" site?!?

I can just imagine the headlines. "Seat Saving Nightmare". "Demon Children Overtake Sauna". "Liquor-Fueled Teens Walk the Decks"

Please, please, post the url.

Cheers, Aidan
