My son Joe was murdered in Austin last night.

OMG, what can any of us say to that? To say that it's terrible and shocking is an understatement at best. Please accept our condolences. I have been overwhelmed by my medical problems, but a murder certainly eclipses those problems. May the Lord give you and yours some solace.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will comfort you in this time of overwhelming pain and sorrow. I have friends who have experienced the murder of a child and I know there is nothing any of us can say to help aside from offer our prayers and unconditional support. We're here for you Luanne.

Oh my God Luanne! How horrific! While words can never express both the horror and deep deep saddness of all of us, please understand that our prayers are with you and your family. May God be with you at this, the most heartbreaking event any parent can ever imagine and may He provide you the peace and comfort only He can provide.

I am so incredibly sad to read this, and shocked. Losing a child is the ultimate pain, but through something so violent, its so much pain for a mother and family to bear. It is just so terribly sad, I am so sorry.
