Morning All, from Montreal, where I'm wondering where everybody is!
It's dull out there today, and flakes are beginning to fall, for an estimated 5-10cms of the white stuff. Just a dusting really, but I suppose rush hour tonight will be a mess.....
Nothing new around here, just a very heavy heart, thinking of Luanne and her family....
Like RollerDonna and Trip I getting ready for yet another onslought of wintry weather. We have been warned by the weathermen that we should "enjoy" today as it is basically our heat wave. Snow expected first, then wind, then lower of the temps and windchills that could reach to about 30 below zero. I will make sure all the birdfeeders are filled today, as our feathered friends will need extra treats this week.
Work, then pool therapy.
Praying for many of you, especially Luanne.
May we all sense rays of hope reaching down thru the cloud cover today,
As RD mentioned already, the snow has started to fall. It is actually quite warm out right now. Tomorrow it wont be when I go to Ottawa to take my mother to her palliative care appointment. Why could that not be today? I hate the extreme cold. Was up late working alot, and today will be much of the same as yesterday. I have a couple of pups who are holding grudges that I brushed their hair yesterday night. One in particular. The male, I looked at him today and just said "Get over it Benjamin !". It started off OK, and then he saw the brushes as I was putting them away and it is almst like he "remembered" he is to be in a snit, so now he is lying there looking at me with that "face". Have a good day every one.
Special thought to Luanne and her famly as they go through this difficult time.

Morning from the Pacific Northwest..............it's warm here.......not like the rest of yas.........about 45 right now.......the 50's for the highs....I'll take it.........
Get to wait for FedX today.....so much fun........
Luanne........you & your family are in our thoughts & prayers........
Good morning from the sunshine state. The weather guy told us we are getting very cold weather here. But I am sure its nothing compared to canada!
Got a very late call in the middle of night as our md was put in a small hospital to check on her mind so to speak. Looks as we or I will be flying down there soon. Its been difficult with lots of ups and downs.....need to find the right meds.
Her boyfriend spoke to my dh and we are hoping to reach the doctors this morning. There is a 2 hr time difference.
Today it's snowing and I need to get my house in order. It looks like a bomb went off again. I got tons of laundry done over the weekend...and for some reason there's still more to do. Go figure!
I still have nothing packed for the Blogger's cruise. Just too many things going through my mind to focus yet. I guess I must work better under pressure these days.
D/H is headed to Indy to take some exams. As soon as he leaves the kids are going to hit the books for a while, then when I think they have been sufficiently smartened up, I will let them go to the sitter to play with their buddies.
Sometime this next week and a half we need to head up to Canada to see d/h's folks. So I have to get those plans in order along the way today. Right now I think we should leave early Friday, and return Sunday.
I pray that Luanne will have the strength to face the day and she finds peace and comfort. My heart is with her as she faces the greatest pain a mother will ever encounter. A parent should never have to outlive their children, it is contrary to the natural order of life.
Good Morning cruisemates! Chinook winds are blowing in Calgary, bring warming winds bringing us in toward the mid 40s F.
I'm thinking I might get out today to buy a couple of new pillow. Exciting huh? May also go take a look at some lighter luggage. We like the hard sided stuff, and ours has endured pretty well, but it is heavy.
My mind still turns to the senseless violence that took Luanne's son. What a waste!
I truly feel for Luanne and her family. As a former medic from NYC and rescuer during the 9-11 attacks on the WTC there is nothing worse than loosing a family member. We must not forget our lost loved ones. God is the only one who can help. We might hate the ones that are responsible for our losses but they are truly the ones that need the Lords guidance.

Good afternoon from warm but wet Lakeland. RD, Trip, VTJen, I really feel bad for all the horrible weather you are having. I called my cousin in NH and she is ready to pack up and come down here. That was a terrible chain reaction accident on I-93. Lucky that no one died. Stay warm andsafe, stay in if possible. Have a great day all.

Good Afternoon Mates,
It was a clear, cool and sunny day here in Colorado. My little six and seven year old barometers were wound up this afternoon. That is usually the sign of a storm.
When I got home from work DH was still in his robe. He says he isn't feeling good. I think he is just getting tired of the cold. He likes to be outside doing things around the yard.
Our thoughts continue to be with Luanne and family. May God give them the needed support during these next difficult weeks.
