Would anyone consider living and retirement onboard?

At least one lady is on her 87th straight cruise. Another business start-up lets you buy a cruise ship retirement condo. Is there enough interest?

Yes. I never gain weight on a cruise and eat only the low fat stuff, so I'd be fine, I think.

I would consider it as long as I didn't have my pets. It might be nice to do for a while, like a year of two. You can always get off it you don't like it.

There is always too much of a good thing and while it would be wonderful for a while I believe it would eventually get old and very expensive.

The World of Residensea has a number of condos available for purchase. Quite a few of the original owners have given up on the "floating" lifestyle.

You can pick up a World of Residensea condo for about 20% less than they originally sold for.

Everything I have seen or read about the Residensea, was that since, it is people's 3/4 th home, it is like a ghost ship at times. Since this is not a cruise ship, even booking a guest suite for a cruise, it would be a totally different experience, and one I would bet, most cruisers would not care for at all.

Residensea sounds wonderful to me; I would love to live aboard a cruise ship. Unfortunately, to buy a condo on Resdensea you must have a net worth of at least $3,000,000 which closes Rob and I out of this financial strata. I can dream can't I?

As Mike said, "too much of a good thing" might get old fast."
As much as I'd love to retire on a cruise ship, I wouldn't like not having pets and being away from family and friends.
What I'd really like is to have enough money when I retire to go on more cruises....and then come home.

If it were extended world cruise, I would do it. The same old 5-7 day itinerary would get old. It would be like Ground Hog Day.

I would in a heart beat if it were on the Residensea. I watched on the travel channel about this ship and WOAH! All I can do is dream about it.
