I just saw this on the news....wow.... dangerous incident.

On television, I saw some video of the ship's mooring lines breaking. It was pretty impressive. I hope that the passenger is okay.

This certainly was a dangerous situation. I don't understand why the gangway was up or why passengers were allowed to disembark when the winds were that high. The port is at fault but so is the ship. A bad decision on the part of the Captain. Moving the ship after the fact does not alter the incident.

That's really sad, just something more for us to think about when disembarking at the different ports!
