The week b4 the Conquest does the eastern itinerary. Key West, Freeport, Nassau. The week following it does the exact same itinerary. So if we considered a b2b it would be better to do Jan 10 & Jan 17.
Snooze, are you doing the B2B. Carole and I have not been to key west. This might be a good idea. Thanks, Mike

I think April was referring to something else. We don't have a b2b planned, but we could think about it for sure. Not sure I could do it, but maybe. If enough were interested I know we could get something going. If only a few, we could do it as individuals.
Snooze, we booked the January 10th. date as well as the 17th. We are working with Nancy to get the same cabin. I hope other people decide to book the B2B as well. Are you considering the B2B? Thanks for the help. Mike

I will certainly consider it Mike. I could transfer one of my existing Conquest reservations this fall to that week.
I may need to be social host on the night on the 16th, but I guess Phil & Liz and Darlene can handle the Galveston dinner. We could certainly give everyone a special welcome when they board on the 17th.
I'll sure think about it especially since I notice that they have my cabin available.
Snooze, I know that is the only down side for us having to miss the pre cruise dinner. But with any luck we can make up for it once everyone is on board. I moved from 8461 to 8459 to avoid having to move after the first week. Nancy was a big help. We have not been to Key West and that is part of the reason we went for the extra week. Lets invest a considerable portion of what we would have spent on a B2B in Lemon Drops ...heck with "those people" who want to go on B2B, I think you have a grand idea.!!
Lemon Drops at pre cruise dinner, Lemon Drops at sail away.. a day of dark sunglasses & tylenol .. then lemon drops on nite 2

April, I have had computer problems or I would have replied earlier. The only down side I see is that we will have to wait a week before we get to visit with you and Michael and miss the pre cruise dinner. We have wanted to visit Key West and have not found a ship that stops there to date so this works well for us. Carole and I were discussing cruise options when you referenced the B2B thing, that with Snooze saying the first week went to Key West made it an easy choice. Your timing was great. It would be nice if a few people decided to go the tenth, but like TC said people have to work. My problem is Carole's business, the publishing industry does not seem to be impacted by the over all economy and she is very busy or I would be trying to talk her into going more often. Lemon drops sound good........since I can't do a back to back at that time of year (too long gone from home in the middle of winter.......sigh..........)
Lisa, I know the weather is an issue in most of the country. In California it normally is not a factor. I don't talk about weather, but today is windy so I won't feel guilty. The B2B thing just came together for us. Being retired I have more time than most to think about where to go next. The good news is that the January 17th. will be here in no time. Mike
