What is your favorite thing about cruising?

Just chillin' in a deck chair in the sun, with a good book and the Bee Gees or Buffett on my MP3 player, that's what I love about cruising!

All of the above but especially the amount of relaxation one receives on a cruise and the ambience of the experience.

You truly get waited on hand and foot, love the service levels you find when cruising. Also the fact, all meals are taken care of, plenty of choices, almost too many :-)

All of the above plus hanging with family and friends that i don't get to see but maybe once a year and that's on a cruise.

The TOTAL lack of stress! Getting up in the morning, and knowing that we're (the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) and I) are going to have a GREAT day. No cell phone, no pager, and no COMPUTER! (although I do miss my CruiseMates site) 8) The big production shows, even though I've seen most of them time and time again. The music aboard! The GREAT folks who always seem to share our dinner table. The fact that the menu has no prices! The fresh sea air, and like R.D., just chilling out and enjoying the music on my MP3. Singing at karaoke, and sometimes doing the talent show, or Legends Show.

so many great things; but I think the most important or favorite thing is once you are onboard/unpacked; you are DONE! no need to worry about a thing; just go with the flow - land vacations are not soo easy.

As others have have said, the lack of stress.

But also, even though we have been on so many cruise, I like the "unexpected"....... that thunderstorm in the distance, that you get to watch from your balcony, having an unexpected opportunity to visit with the Captain, that special little quaint bar you find while in port. You just never know what the day will hold in store for you.

My favorite part of cruising would be sitting on the balcony with my wife in the evening, a drink in one hand, cigar in the other and just enjoying the ship sailing and watching the waves and water go by.

The freedom to do as you want and there are no PHONES --no bosses to answer to- no COMPUTERS and no alarm clocks---being waited on and not having to think about what to cook for lunch and the beauty of all the sites.
De stress is the name of the game.

What I love about crusing is just going along with the day. On all of my vacations with family or just friends I plan everything from air travel, hotel , where we go, what to do on what day and I always drive. On a cruise I do what ever I feel like doing at that time. My family won't go on a cruise so I go with my girlfriends and thats pretty nice. I don't have to do anything for anyone except myself. The only thing I have to do is not fall of the ship
