Well, my sister had to have a biopsy a few days ago, I didnt really want to go into it, we got a call today that she has to make an appointment with the surgeon who did it. I keep thinking it can be not bad news, maybe just to give a good result, but I find this very odd deep in my heart. Normally, if it is good news, that is sent to the family doctor or the patient told over the phone, not to worry, and all is well. The only time I ever get asked to make an appointment is when we have to hear some one else has cancer. So keep her in your prayers, and all of us, because if this is cancer, she has said she will not treat it, and we cannot force her , and that means even more heartache. This same message was left when my brother was asked to come in as well.........I just don't know how I will get through the weekend waiting.

Delft, your sister is in our prayers! My husband, Rob, had a cancer scare several years ago. It was there, in Palm Springs, that my faith in good people was awakened. Never give up hope, Delft and always remain positive around your sister!
Delft, My thoughts and prayers for your sister are on the way.

It is important that you be there with your sister...to hear what MAY be bad news.. and options..take notes..Having gone through cancer with my sister, mother, sister in law and a dear aunt, among others now at 73 I would dread hearing the verdict.. My first reaction would be to shut down..then go and find out the options..Unless a cancer is self-contained and can be removed...your sister is the only one that can make decisions for the quality of her life..I know what my decision would be.... Be there for her and we;ll all keep her in our prayers that the news is good..
