Default Oregon Enjoying Benefits of Swine Flu Scare

Some dark clouds have silver linings it seems.

As I type, RCCL cruise ship Mariner of the Seas, is docked in Astoria, Oregon, and its passengers are contributing to the local economy. Money that would have been spent elsewhere is being spent in Oregon. Many other cruise ships are scheduled to dock in Astoria also.

Feels kinda weird benefiting from a virus -- but hey, with our economy, we'll take it any way we can get it!
