Morning All, from Montreal, where it is still dark, and extremely wet at 5:30 a.m.
I am not usually up this early, but I have taken the day off and we have an early flight to Moncton N.B., then a drive into Nova Scotia on another house hunting expedition.
I'm hoping that this foul weather does not follow us for the weekend!
The 5-day forecast for here is showers, showers and more showers!
Wishing all my Mates a Happy 4th for tomorrow, and I'll seeya all Monday!
Good Morning CruiseMates!
Full busy road trip today! D/D and I, oh yes and kitty are awake. Kitty has had her fancy feast and I am nearly packed and ready to go. When d/s and d/h wake up we can get on the road and off to Canada.
Yesterday was d/d's last ball game. She did a great job and we were really proud of her. My Sister came and watched her play too, which added an extra element of excitement. We then took the kids to the other end of the park to the 4th of July celebration, where my son and daughter made me sit and watch a baby contest, because their favorite 14 month old was competing.... I don't really understand baby contests, as to me they are all cute, and the vast majority's favorite past times are playing with their toes, eating, filling their diapers and sleeping. So what makes the winning baby a winner? I have no idea. But hey it had a great turn out and unfortunately Sophia, the kids little friend didn't win. Then we took the kids on nearly every ride with the exception of two, over and over again! By the time we got home it was nearly 9:30. We were all exhausted and went to bed pretty quickly.
Not much else happening here. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend and more than anything hope you get to spend it with those you love.
Good morning "Mates", from beautiful downtown Lakeland, Florida. HEY, I've actually got a DAY OFF! No pager, no phone to carry around, or anything!
Great day for that to happen, as it's our wedding anniversary. Yep, it's hard to believe for a lot of folks who said "it wouldn't last", but here we are 23 years later, still living, and still loving together. Got to go now, and get the lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) another cup of coffee.
Good morning from Connecticut.
WE are having a sunny morning after a very wet night.
Happy anniversary to Ken and the lovely Mrs. Jones. May your love continue for many years to come.
And I wish everyone a happy holiday weekend.
TM

Wet, and cold here - I am hoping it clears up before the parade tomorrow.
This afternoon we meet to decorate the float and get the sound system set up and stuffl - it will be a lot of work, and with the thousands of dollars of sound equipment our float won't roll if there is even a sprinkle.
Have to work this morning. I can't believe it is Friday - how do the days go bye so fast - I don't feel like I can ever get enough done - it is just a tad frustrating.
Have blood work and urine test I need to do at some point, but I hate to take the time to do it - ugh.
Well - looks like the 5 minutes the clouds almost parted and the sky was at least light has passed, rain is coming down again.
Good Morning, from a bright beautiful day ( again) where I say so and duck fr cover from those back hme who are getting rain! Today water country USA and then more sightseeing. Yesterday was simply a perfect day!

Hi Kids,
My memory of the sun is fading, and, I may have to move, and start singing that old song, Follow the Sun!
My sil is being released from the hospital today, we needed to call 911, as he had a heart episode the otherday, and with history, we took no chances, so first my son, & then my sil.....we all need a vacation from this.
Have a very happy, and, safe holiday.
Make it good one.

Good morning cruisemates. I'm late for a number of reasons, one primary one being answering an absolutely preposterous post under the Etiquette thread.
Hope everyone has a great day. I know Ken and the Lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) certainly will on this their anniversary. Hearty congratulations to you both!
Prayers continue for all on our list and Blessings on all " `o you-uns."
Good morning from warm and sunny Southern California.
RD, happy house hunting!
Trip, I hope the health problems are over in your family!
Keith and I had a nice lunch at King's Fish House yesterday: sea bass for Keith and macadamia nut crusted halibut for me.
I now have a three-day break from the radiation treatments. Keith will see the neurologist for his six month visit. Ain't no fun gettin' old, but it sure beats the alternative!
Good Morning from Colorado,
The sun is shinning, but rain is predicted. I hung a load of clothes on the line. Hope they dry fast.
Beenie and RD enjoy your trips and good luck house hunting!
To Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Happy Anniversary!! May you enjoy many more.
I am so glad that Delft continues to enjoy her vacation.
To those with ill family and friends we extend our prayers.
I'm new here, but wanted to wish everyone a safe and fun 4th of July! I'm sitting here at work already waiting for 5pm! I live in the upper central valley here in CA and it has been hot for the last week and a half. I'm talking upper 90's to low 100's. Can I send one of you guys my next PG&E bill???
