Default PSA for CQ !!!!!!! (Salsa Theme Cruise)

MSC Poesia...Jan 23, 2010 Latin Music Theme Cruise...early booking special rate inside cabin $549 p/p..Ft Lauderdale, San Juan, St Maarten, Tortola

lots of Latin (Salsa) dancing on an Italian cruise line (hmmmmmmmmmm)

I think this cruise has your name on it

For everyone else, MSC has 11 theme cruises on their website (no jazz but a big band cruise)..looks like they have a theme for every taste

I was sooooooo excited for CQ when I saw the Latin Music Cruise, I overlooked the others, so I went back to their website and wow they have some variety of theme cruises

Milan Jr. Soccer Camp - with coaches from the Milan professional team teaching kids about the sport (oh CQ.......your son might like this one and you can Salsa while he learns from real professionals)

baseball greats-big band-Latin music-comedy-oldies (The Letterman, Fabulous Stingrays, Elvis look-a-like)-festa Italiana-country music-Presidents (no not the POTUS, but MSC CEO)-polka -chess-wellness-
Texas holden-culinary-bridge-astral

great rates-newer ships....I am sending MSC's CEO an email that states that Paul Motter demands that they schedule a smooth jazz theme cruise and that they provide me a courtesty suite so I can write a review (only kidding Paul)

for those that have cruise MSC...how are they

After sailing on the Liberty OTS, those MSC ships would fee; like you were sailing on a canoe.

We have been on the MSC Lirica twice. Neither were speciality cruises but both went to places in the Caribbean we had not been before. Definitely if we had not enjoyed the first time we would not have gone a second.

MSC is definitely not Royal Caribbean or Carnival. The food was good, some meals better than others but then you find that on any cruise. The food is Italia without being Olive Garden Italian.

The second cruise was just this past April and I must say that we felt that the entertainment in the main theater was better. Mainly because it was not strictly Italian style every night. I understand that for Caribbean cruises they do adjust the entertainment now a bit. Not as much of the opera and classical type of music as previous.

The reason we went on them the first time was a lot to do with the fact that the stop at San Juan was a full day from 8am to 6 pm. We really did want to be able to see some of Puerto Rico and not worry about it getting dark and hardly seeing anything. At the time MSC was the only line that we could afford that had daytime stop there.

I would definitely go on another cruise with MSC if we found one that we would like the ports.

I hope this helps any of you who are now thinking of going on as MSC cruise.

Nancy..I think you are on to something about them trying to adapt to the market place..thus by doing these theme cruises it will encourage Americans to sail MSC

Wow what great choices! Salsa cruise and Milan Jr. Soccer. 8)

My neighbor is going on MSC in January I'll have to ask her about when she returns.

Holland has a Salsa cruise in January 10 day Panama Canal. 8)

My cruises for 2010 are already picked out but one day I must try a latin theme cruise.

venice, MSC has been doing the baseball ruis esince they started cruising in the Caribbean and have expanded on the themes. I'm sure it has helped them in the American market.

BUMMER, the two "BIG BAND" cruises are on very bad dates for me. The first one is exactly when I already have a 10 day cruise booked, and the second one is only a week off of another cruise I have booked. Boy, are the prices right though. If I didn't have a bunch of others joining us on the second cruise, I might consider canceling that one, and booking "Costa". Oh well, maybe next time. Thanks for the information Venice. I'll keep my eye on "Costa" in the future for another "Big Band" cruise.

CQ...you only live once...go for it... sometimes the best cruises are those that you did not plan in advance...who knows that couple from Brazil might be on it which gives you another opportunity to take a picture of the woman in the thong for me and Salsa with her male companion

more cruises let you live longer

Interesting list of themed cruises, the one for me is the Culinary Theme Cruise. I love food. To bad they are all in Europe.

Kat..what better reason then to have your husband take you back to Europe ..I'm sure you can research and find a culinary theme cruise on this side of the pond..if not, I grew up less then 25 miles from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA), which is right on the Hudson River in Hyde Park, I'll have Dave The Wave bring tow the Minnow of the Seas from Florida to New York and you can have a private full charter culinary theme cruise on the Hudson for 4 hours

I can drive down with fresh veggies and herbs from my garden. I love to cook, we need a BBQ on the Minnow of the Seas for the culinary cruise.
