Default In-N-Out burger secret menu

Okay I learned today the In-N-Out Burger has a secret menu. If you say certain things they will make your burger a certain way. I thought that was kind of cool. The terms are interesting so I thought it would be fun to put the term here and have you guys guess what style of burger that would be.
1. What is a burger "Animal style"?
2. What is a burger Protein style?
3. What about a"The Flying Dutchman" burger?
4. What about Fries “Animal Style”?

It's okay and G rated. Here is a picture of a 20X20. This is 20 patties with 20 slices of cheese. It looks so healthly. Here is the story about the man who ate the 20X20. Enjoy!

That's how burgers should be. No coleslaw. No olives. No fried banana chips. No tamarind sauces. JUST Meat and cheese. Mmmm.

1. Burger with hand-leafed lettuce, tomato, a mustard cooked beef patty; add pickle, extra spread, with grilled onions.
2. Burger wrapped in hand-leafed lettuce, instead of a bun.
3 & 4. ?

Me too Venice! I love White Castle, and our Krystle here in Florida just doesn't come up to the GREAT taste of White Castle. If reference to the 20/20,,,my cardiologist told me that anything is O.K.,,,,in moderation! I'd probably only eat one of those occasionally.

Ah ha an In N out Burger eater. You got two. I will just reveal them all now.
1. is what hannibal said; Animal style is Mustard-cooked beef patty, additional pickles, extra secret sauce with grilled onions.

2. Protein style is also as hannibal said Any burger you want wrapped in lettuce instead of that carbohydrate-laden bun.

3. "The Flying Dutchman" burger is 2 beef patties, 2 slices of cheese. That’s it. No lettuce. No onions. No bun. No nuthin’.

4. This one I have to try! Fries “Animal Style” French fries with secret sauce, onions and cheese on top.

Wait here is a better picture. Well now there is an In N out burger 5 mintues from my house. Guess what's for lunch?

Oh shoot I forgot about Squeeze Inn. The burgers there wear a cheese skirt. Here in California we are all about healthly food.

My burger of choice would be ground Turkey along with any other meal instead of hamburger meat.

Oh well at least you tried. In N Out Burger is only in California and maybe Arizona. They don't freeze the meat so the resturants have to be close to the where the meat is processed. The French Fries are from real potatoes they have potato slicers in the restuarants and you can watch them make your fries. The food here is a lot freshier and more tasty then at a lot of fast food restuarants. I like good fresh food.

I discovered In-n-Out a couple of years ago when we went to the Bay Area to visit the in-laws. It is probably the BEST fast food hamburger (maybe the best all around hamburger) I've ever had.

The last time we were in the Bay Area was not for fun and finally at 12:30 a.m. we had some time to rest. I found out how wonderful my wife was when she gave in to my request to drive me to In-n-Out to satisfy my craving.

Now I know that I can order a triple 3x3 the next time I'm out there.
mmmmmm

Take care,
Mike

Default Burger King Secret Menu

Mike, Keith says the best hamburger he's ever had was at King's Burgers in Meisville, MN. Better burgers to me, besides King's in Meisville, are Houston's (all over the country) and long-time Pasadena restaurant, Kathleen's.

best hamburgers I ever had were made by my Grandfather 8) 8) before she went to work my step Grandmother would make a healthy meal with lots of lima beans and as soon as she was out the door, my Grandfather would put her meal in a brown paper bag...he would fry us up a hamburger and put it in between 2 slices of white bread with pickles and we would have chocolate milk..hmmmmmmm good

we would go out for our walk, drop the paper bag off on the corner where some bums use to stay..give the bum a quarter so he could get something to drink (this was in the 60's) and when my step Grandmother got home, she would ask if I cleaned my plate and I could answer in the affirmative

I miss my Grandfather and really miss him when my grandson and I make hamburgers (that his mother does not like him to have)

When I lived in Hollywood there was a chain called "Tommy's".

They made a triple with everything PLUS chili !! The best!

IMHO.....In-N-Out burgers are the best one can buy. It is still family owned and they started out in CA in 1947. They are located in CA, AZ and now in NV. Everytime I go visit my kids in So. CA., I get my fix and always have at least one In-N-Out burger. Every location is a gold mine and they are busy all the time....day or night. Like KatLady mentioned, every burger is cooked fresh.....yummm, yumm.

okay, Venice, what about Bud's Broilers in N.O. Hmmmm?
Great with their hickory sauce and mounds of fresh grated cheddar cheese. And of course, a Barq's root beer.

I like White Castles, but the only outlet I know of is in Toms River, NJ about 50 miles away . I have never had the microwavable White Castle burgers but I assume they would not be as good.

The last time I had a White Castle was after I was released from the ER after my first kidney stone. It took me back to my college years. It was 3:00 a.m. and I was loaded. (This time on pain killers).

It just wasn't the same. They reminded me of a boiled hamburger with onions. It was the same classic taste but my tastes had changed.

Take care,
Mike
