Default Virgin

Virgin America just announced non stop service from SFO/LAX to Ft Lauderdale (FLL)..should have some good intro fares for those trying to get from the west coast to catch a cruise ship out of MIA or FLL

I think that is an indication of the impact of building bigger ships, you have to have more air service to support the build up..cruise traffic has historically been viewed by the carriers as low yield and thus a seat filler so whether they are successful in this market in terms of yield, not load factor, will determine what their competitors will do

this has been tried before

How you tell me after I booked the Mexican Riviera cause air fare to florida is to high. What kind of prices are you seeing? I like flying out of SFO.

Given Sir Richard Branson's background and business history,,,there is a good reason for doing it. He does not take gambles in my opinion
