Morning All, from Montreal, where I am up at this ungodly hour on a weekend, just so I can fit in a hair appointment! My hairdresser was so busy she asked if I could come in at 7:30 am! Since she's been on vacation, and I am long overdue, I'm going at 7:30.....
Well at least my day will get an early start. Maybe later I;ll have time to enjoy the wonderful weather that is in store for us this weekend - hot'n humid again, it's already 23C going up to 30C with a humidex around 40!
That's a temp of 86 + humidity over 90.
It's been such a cold rainy summer here that that is welcome!
Hoping you all find some time to relax a bit today!
A beautiful day on tap here - as have been the last few. How nice of summer to suddenly show up.
Not much new here - just trying to get stuff done. I am almost finished increasing my meds, and the pain levels are still tho, but they make me so sleepy, I guess it doesn't matter. I keep pressing on.
Good Morning, wow it looks like us "Northerners" were all up early. I got up early just to beat the humidity and get some work done. The humidity makes it impossible for me to breathe outside.
Well, the bathroom and front hallway are done. They are coming today just to do a few last things like installing the hall closet door and clean up. I am really pleased with how it looks and the clean uniform look of the floor.
Taking my sister horse riding shortly and then I will clean up the house which is upside down on that level and will need some serious dusting that is for sure!
Have a great day every one!

We are in for another beautiful day here. So glad that summer decided to show up at least for awhile.
I had great plans to sleep in today but D/H changed that. He was up early getting ready to go play in a benifit golf tournament. His rambling around woke me way before I really wanted. He is computer challenged and needed help getting his golf GPS loaded. I ended up doing it for him. He is now gone and I am up for the day.
Need to make a run to Staples to get some office supplies, then a stop at the grocery as our cupboards are getting pretty bare. Will pick up something to throw on the grill for dinner. The grill hasn't gotten much use this year as it is no fun to grill in the rain.
Good Morning CruiseMates!
Well today is a new day, full of the promise of domestic chores at every turn, lol. No wonder I slept in til 8:30 this morning.
The kids passports arrived in the mail yesterday. I sure hope d/h gets on the stick and renews his Canadian passport soon, because if he doesn't I'll sure miss him on our Jewel cruise in about 70 days.
Well not much else happening around here. I need to trudge on. I'll check on a little later after I have bulldozed a path through my living room. It has become painfully clear that d/s is once more mobile.
No Saturday sunshine here. A nice marine layer came in to keep us cool for at least a little while. It makes for a pleasant morning stroll for the little black cat who meandered in the back yard.
House cleaning chores are on my agenda, too, plus perhaps a trip to another mall to see if we can get Keith's watch repaired.
We are having a heat wave here in Connecticut. Just like many other places this is the first summer weather we have had so far.
We are heading for Foxwoods Casino this afternoon. We are still over 100 days from going to the casino of on the Liberty of the Seas.

It was a beautiful day here, once again hot and humid. I'm the type that really prefers Fall. Maybe Delph and Jen, we should exchange homes.
Took Fran across the mountains to Asheville to Sam's where we loaded up on staples. Then went by the Fresh Market, one of those supermarkets dedicated to the high rollers, which we certainly ain't. Nevertheless we love to browse. I almost caved and purchased a couple of Prime New York Strips(yes, folks, REAL PRIME) at the to me at least, steal price of $12.99 a pound. The boss looked at me with what only can be described as incredulity, so I wisely dropped the idea. She reinforced her opinion (as if such was necessary) by snarling that we had just spent $24 dollars on Choice Rib Eyes at Sam's. But of course she got her Cannollis which admittedly were a "few" dollar less than a Prime pound, actually about 10 dollars less.
Prayers as usual and hope everyone's having a grand week end.
