Default Cruisemates group cruise to Hawaii 2011?

I was on the home page and noticed the Princess has added Los Angeles to Hawaii cruise in 2011. At one point I noticed the cruisemates had a group cruise like this, but it was cancelled. So I'm wondering if Cruisemates is thinking of doing a Hawaiian group cruise in 2011. Has Cruisemates ever done a group cruise from the West Coast? Some of us West Coast Cruisers would love that. Just a suggestion.

I would totally bring you back some Kona Coffee. You would have a blast it you came with us. I could find a most excellent restuarant for a pre cruise party. San Pedro has some good ones. Green Field-Churras Caria comes to mind.

We've actually had 4 Let's Get Lei'd cruises to/from/to and from Hawaii... and they were all great. We also had a Mex Riv group cruise. All of which may have been before you go there.

I did notice the Princess Hawaii cruises, and thought it might be time for Let's Get Lei'd Hawaii 5 0

The Golden Princess out of L.A. only gives you four days in Hawaii.
Now that is a short Lei.

Carole and I just did that trip on the Radiance of the Seas last September, but we would do it again with the cruisemates group. We went in September and found the crossing kind of rough both ways, not a lot of sun and fun until you got to Hawaii. I would be interested to see when Kuki plans the next one. We would go no matter when it was , no one can plan the weather. Mike

Darn!! I just know that the air from Florida and the single supplement will just price me out of it. I went to Hawaii on a land tour in 85. I loved it. Hawaii is the most beautiful place I have ever been to.

I keep checking for a Cruisemates Hawaii cruise. Princess also has a great Hawaii-Tahiti cruise in 2011 that I was planning to book, but I'm going to wait and see if Cruisemates does Hawaii. I loved my Hawaii cruise a couple years ago and want to go back.

Hawaii is the most beautifull place that I have been to also.

I have been there on a land vacation as well as on a cruise aboard the Celebrity Infinity.

The cruise was nice, but not enough time in Hawaii. I actaully prefered tha land vacation because we spent 8 nights in Hawaii.

I like the idea of either Princess or Royal Caribbean out of Los Angeles/San Diego because I would drive to port. Plus I love sea days. TM did you see MT Kilauea at night? I have heard that is quite a sight.

We saw Mt. Kilauea from the air when we were flying to Honolulu, and she was acting-up quite a bit.

We have been to Hawaii...loved it...so beautiful

What are the advantages of going with the Groups Department? What are the disadvantages?

I have only been on one Cruisemates cruise. The advantages are you get to meet the people you have been chatting with. The group had activites planned on seas days including a cocktail party. Plus I thought I got an excellent deal by booking with cruisemates.

I didn't see to many disadvantages you are not required to do anything with the group. However, it was so much fun I liked hanging with the group.

Manuel,

The land tour was alright. We were there 10 days and did 3 different islands. I felt like 3 days were wasted moving from one island to the next. Pack up, board the bus , plane bus again finally arrive at a hotel. Also we spent quite a bit of money for the trip. Food was not included so that was a huge expense too. I just think that the cruise would be the best deal for most. As for me I do think the single supplement and the air from Florida will put me out of it anyway.

Alright then! That will work... I am hoping for a reduced deposit so I don't have to sell a spare organ or something. That reminds me I need to call her tomorrow. Hope all is well with you! Good to see you around here a little more often.
