Default CQ...Your Thanksgiving Plans

Salsa Cruise Asia...Legend of the Seas Nov 22nd thru 27th departure port Singapore..over 27 different types of Latin dance instruction and a Grammy nominated Salsa Band and maybe another RCI video opportunity

don't forget to take pictures of you know what

on a serious note, really seeing an upswing in theme cruises not only in our side of the world but all around the world..what a great way to spend Thanksgiving and not have to cook and still see NFL football and then dance the night away

Thanksgiving? I hadn't even thought that far ahead ( and ours is much closer than yours!)
I figure we will have been in our new house about 3 weeks when Thanksgiving comes around in October....no family this year, so I guess we will have to start a new tradition....Anyone want to come to Nova Scotia for dinner?
It will be a far cry from the Thanksgiving Champagne Breakfast we celebrated on our balcony of the Sapphire Princess last year!

RD if I were still living in NH I would take you up on that invite! I love Nova Scotia. Such a beautiful place.

What is NFL, Venice? I've been a NASCAR fanatic for over fifty years and I've never heard of "NFL" in that sport. Does it maybe mean, "No Fuel Leaked?"

Years ago there was a football NFL. But I think that started to collapse around the time John Unitas, Henry "Big Daddy" Lipscomb, Big Sam Huff and Bart Starr retired. I think there was a resurgence around the time "Refrigerator" Perry played but then it waned, didn't it?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Departure port Singapore

I found this one alittle closer to home

All day dance lessons!!!
Plus I don't watch football so no need to stop dancing to watch football. 8)

FYI - The holidays are just around the corner everyone!

Venice, of course you can watch football! And I'm sure you won't need snowshoes in October - at least I hope not!
However, the colours across the street from us should be brilliant by Thanksgiving!

Default The First Thanksgiving

Feeling guilty after at least 50 plus years of making Thanksgiving Dinner in our home....we will be flying out to Barcelona that night for our t/a cruise on the NCL Gem.. maybe they will serve turkey....on Aer Lingus.. Thanksgiving is my favorite time to cook and bake... and I do cook and bake up a storm...

Parrot Mom...don't feel tooooooooooooooooo guilty about it

up untill my Dad died, he was the one that enjoyed fixing Thanksgiving dinner...he had prepared it every year since they were married (35 years)...he died one month before Thanksgiving and my mother did not know how to even start..friends invited us to their home, trying to be supportive, but she was in mourning and did not want to go..I had to slice the turkey

Default NOT TOO GUILTY....

Parrot Pop only knows how to peel carrots, sweet potatoes and boil water and feed the dogs..lol..Have always loved for these 50 plus years trying out new recipes on friends and families.. Somewhere along the line after we come back.. I think I might surprise everybody with a dinner..it's my ego booster.. to know I "still have it"..lol. The best part now...is that I accept help in the kitchen in serving and cleaning up... but the rule is...I do the cooking.lol, just bring your appetite
