How funny is this I put out a poll about women's hairstyles and my first replies are all from men. You all like A to, which is great because A is the easiest one to do.

Mike you retro look is creative, but it requires haircolor, fingerwaves and a lot of back combing. So I'm going a little more subtle this time. Maybe I will just do these eyebrow.

Yes and if I don't have enough hair I know where to buy some. Updo A is a modern take on the barrel curl I like the way it sits low on the head. I'm growing out the layers in my hair so that will help.

D is a half do . It's half up half down. Thanks for fixing the picture. B is a french twist, but with curls at the top. I think it gives the french twist a look more of something. For my Alaskan cruise I did my hair similar Hermione's at the Yule Ball.

I thought A was beautiful. I wish I had enough hair to do any of those! I hope I have enough hair to not be embarrassed on my January cruise, but it seems to be coming along just fine. I would never do wigs. Too hot and itchy.

There are some cute shorter styles. Something combed forward like this will hide any spots that didn't come in all the way.If you hairspray your bangs then twist some piecesit will give a nice seprated look these styles have. it's at times like this, it's good to be a man..we just go get a regular haircut about a week before the cruise and it matches anything we are wearing..just as long as the shoes are shined and the socks match hardest decision, which side of the head to get your part

It's better being a woman....We can have many different hairstyles all within the same cruise week!

Besides who really pays attention to the men on formal nite They all look the same dark suit/tux.

It's all about the ladies and the dress, hair, shoes, makeup, nails and purse! 8) :o

CQ..my mother raised me to dress to compliment the lady you are with, so you are right, on formal nights the focus should be on the women

I like to suggest that you might rephrase your other point ...no one pays attention to the men in a tux, untill we look at another woman who is wearing the exact same outfit as your DW/GF and comment that you both have on the same thing then we get alot of attention from one person

people do pay attention if the man is not dressed to compliment his lady, and what sets a tux off is the accessories (just like a woman in a basic black dress)..the worse sin, unpolished shoes

I usually see a really sharp suit in GQ or Playboy magazine that cost $3000 or more, tear out the picture, go to Dillards and my tailor puts the same thing together for $500 or less

and you women do look at a good looking man in a sharp outfit on formal night (as observed when my son wears his Air Force Officers Dress uniform with his fighter pilot wings and all of his medals)
