Default Last year's NCL Jewel Repo Halloweenies question

Good Morning Cruisemates...Question for those of you who were on the NCL Jewel repo cruise with Kuki last at halloween time. I know many of you weren't travelling with kids so perhaps you didn't notice, but does anyone recall if they had trick or treating for the little kiddos? I would imagine they will have something in the kid's club planned.

We have a large roll call of about 200-250 people and thought we might go door to door (to our group member's cabins) trick or treating with the kids, but were trying to avoid scheduling conflicts. I am thinking of doing it around 5:30-6:00... Which I thought would be a good time since the kid's club would likely not be open yet, and it is before most would go to dinner.

Does anyone have any thoughts if that is a good time slot?

Beenie
Lots of people were in costume but I don't remember anything about trick or treating. Last year I do not remember seeing very many children on this cruise. Not sure what they will have going on this year but I know you will have fun. 8)

Hello Beenie, Carole and I were on the Emerald Princess for Halloween a few years ago and there was a costume party in one of the the bars and wonderful pumpkin carvings about fifty in the main lounge area. I don,t remember many children. I have no doubt that there is some special activities for them in the children's area. There was a large group of Bears on that cruise. I was hoping they would be part of the Halloween costume party, but they kept to themselves. I think the ship was concerned that some costumes might be to much for the general public. Living in the San Francisco Bay area, Halloween can be a wild time in the city. I can see how some people might have a problem. Take care, Mike

Thanks Guys! I am praying that there will be no Bears on this cruise. I imagine that there will be lots of activities in the kid's club too. I was really surprised by the number of kids that will be there.

Should be a lot of fun.

We're talking about trick or treating some of the folks on the roll call's cabins. I didn't want to plan some elaborate thing if they already had something like that planned onboard.

As always, I appreciate your help!

Hey Beenie,

If you have a large group like this, then I would personally suggest the time of 5 to 5.30 Pm for trick a treating. Maybe get a list together of who wants to give out treats.

This only because I feel that it wont cutt into getting ready for dinner time for those who want to give out candy but dont want to be disturbed gettting ready for dinner.

We traditionally get ready for dinner between 5 and 6 PM, but personally I would prefere that kids come between 5 and 5.30.

JMHO. What ever you guys do, just have a wonderful time!
