Good morning from the high seas. We are on our 2nd day at sea of our 6 days forward to Fort Lauderdae. We have flat seas and the weather is beautiful. Hope it last.

It is approaching 8 am.

Gotta go for some breakfast.

See you all later.

Ray, I've enjoyed keeping up with you during this cruise! Sorry to hear that Helen isn't feeling well. Hopefully the doc can give her something to feel better. Give her a hug from me -- and then go wash your hands!

Ray I am so jealous of your wonderful cruise, but so glad you are enjoying it. Hope the Dr. can help Helen out and she can enjoy the rest of the cruise.
It is good to hear that the seas are being good to you for the voyage. Looking forward to hearing all about it when you get home.

Wednesday nite 8.15 PM just got back watching the internatinal Crfew show. They were pretty good.

Flat seas are gone. Getting rough now. 3 more days before we get home. Formal tomorrow. The last of our cruise. We will have 3 total.

Colds are almost gone now. I am having problems with my legs. Ankles are swollen. Hope to make it home before any clots form.

See you tomorrow. Good nite

Last night we saw the best production shows of the many cxruises we have been on. It was ONCE UPON A DREAM. The dancers did and excellent job of perfforming. I would like to see it again but tonight we have other plans.

2 more days and we p;ut in at Port Everglades. A Rental car should be waiting and we drive up on the tgurnpike to our lovely city of Ocoee. We should be home mid aftgernoon on Sunday.

This has been a wonderful cruise. With all he Cruismagtes we have with us has mad it a superb cruise.

I will post picturesw afte3r I return home as time permits.

My ankles are swollen and guess I better see the man as soon ASAP after returning.
C U all later.

Ray.... give everyone a hug for me, and an apology for not being there before you disembark.

If the cruise was ending in Scottdale I'd come down to the port to pick you up

Kuki..if the cruise ended in Arizona, you would not be able to p/u Ray and Helen because the NTSB would be onboard questioning Ray and the Captain as to how this happen and if the Captain was in anyway related to the Northwest pilot that overshot the airport by 150 miles

Glad to hear your having a great time

Please say hi to FlaJack and Honey for me-- if you know them that is--I hope Honey is having a great time too and not spending too much time in the casino--and if she is --winning big----we were together on the Freedom of the Seas about 4 weeks ago------
Please Please Please take care of yourself and Helen too----

Now don't get me started on AZ----its easier for them to come to CA than for us to go there---vacation time and cruising dont go to far if you want to do both--hahaha
cruise more and vacation less-----??? works for me--well sort of
Take care and cant wait to see pictures

cheers
April

Default Returned home

We have returned home after the worst debarkation from a cruise ship that we have ever witnessed.

It was so disorgainized that passengers were up in arms. No announcements were made over the PA system. We were in the Handicap room the Cacino. No announcement were made as to what color was disembarking. We had our own wheel chair and was able to walk off the ship when our color was called, but we did not know when. I waited from 815 am til about 11 and I said this is not right. So I went to the Pursers desk and asked if our color was call and they said it had been call about 1 hour ago. So I grabed the wheelie and off we went. Then we could not find our luggage. That was because our color had been called and only a few was left in our color. I finally found them and had to stand in line for another 30 minutes to get a portor. Got the porter finilly. I was after 1130 then. Went thru customs the outside to find a shutle to Budget Rental. Finally found out the the shuttles would not go to the Airport Budget place where i was directed to go so we had to taxi. Got to Budget and finally convinced the people there that I was told that a shuttle was running to that location. But it was not. So they gave me a $30 Voucher. That reduced my bill by that much.

We are tired but we did have a wonderful cruise. Karl and Karen did a wonderful job on hosting. We Congratulated them for the job well done.

C U later

Ray, glad you are home safe. The debarkation sounds a lot like what we went thru a few weeks ago in Miami fron the Valor. Call one thing then wait and wait. After a couple of hours we just left on our own with out asking anyone about any thing.

Welcome home, Ray and Helen! Sorry to read that you have such lousy weather in Italy and France, and that you had to miss Marseilles (one of our favorite ports). But overall, it looks like you had a nice CM cruise. And you got to see the wonderfully zany Marty Allen too! We hope that Helen is OK, and that goes for you as well.

That morning you returned to Pt. Everglades had to have been an incredibly disappointing ending to your cruise. It's hard to believe that the Ruby Princess staff was so unorganized when it came to disembarkation  .... especially for the handicapped passengers who really needed a little extra TLC at that point. But at least you can take solace in the fact that you guys missed the hottest October on record back here in Orange County.

Jack & Kim
