I renewed my passport while I was still in NH. I have moved to Florida now and want to get the address on my passport changed. Can this be done without going to the expense of getting a new passport?

Laura,
No need to do a "Change of Address".
The only place that your "specific" address would be is in your Personal and Contact information on the back page of your picture. You wrote this information in your passport (Hopefully in pencil) and you can change it at any time.
I have had passports where I moved three or four times and just erased and wrote in the new address.
What the passport tells anyone is that you are a citizen of the United State of America. It doesn't matter if you live in Lakeland, Florida or Podunk, Wyoming.
Take care,
Mike
