I guess with Rollerdonna and Beenie Weenie out cruising I'll have to start the GM thread.
I have returned from the north woods and I'm happy and sorry to say that "animals were injured in the making of the trip". We had a successful hunt and a good time. I stayed one day longer than planned because my nephew didn't have to be back to school until today.
Today we are planning on hanging up Christmas lights. We are doing it now because of the nice weather. Last year we waited too long and we wimped out. I also have a field of vision and pressure test to see if the glaucoma is any worse.
Well: I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday and a fantastic week.
Take care,
Mike

Hi Kids,
Good weather around here as well, but, right now no sun...but the warmth is appreciated. Mike, didn't know you had an eye issue...( I too, am struggling with eyes today...They are swollen, a condition that pops up, way too much recently, even on my cruise. Conveniently the Drs. call it contact dermatitis, an easy out, when they cannot tell what it is, so I lay with an icepack to reduce the swelling...
So, today is Lucy day...it"s kids tv, till she naps
Good thoughts to all, and make it a good one.

We're being affected by Hurricane, or is it Tropical Storm, Ida. Wind is blowing and we have one tree down, but it was a dead one anyway and didn't do any damage.
Regards,
Thomas[/b]

I hope you and everyone else effected by Ida stay safe and that there is no further damage!
Trip: I was diagnosed with glaucoma about six years ago. Before that I had lost part of my vision in my right eye because of a blood clot on the optic nerve after one of my brain surgeries. My vision became worse and it was found to be that I also had glaucoma in that eye. I am now 60% blind in the right eye. The left eye is still good so I've let Betty know that it will be a long time before I have to study anatomy using the Braille method.
Take care,
Mike

Hope all of you down in the Gulf area are doing well with Ida. She seems to have fizzled out which is a very good thing.
Mike congrats on the harming of deer,,DH is very upset as he did not get to head out to the U.P of Mich this year for his annual hunt. Although he IS hunting around home here in Va. Sez it's just not the same. Gotta be a guy thing.
