The new board will make its debut later today. The message boards will be unavailable from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST. So if you try to visit the message boards and receive an error "DON"T PANIC". We'll be back before the withdrawal symptoms become too bad.
This is a little longer of an outage than I anticipated but the complexity of changing from this board format to the new one is greater than I was initially aware of. But do not fear the new boards look good and everything seems to be working. The only problem is that they used my "real" picture for my avatar.

Laura you are right about the veterans. Seems that the older I get the more I am aware of and awed by how much their service to our country means. A great big thank you to all of those who have served, and to those who have given their all so that we as well as many others around the world can live in freedom.
Looking forward to the new format! I know a lot of work has been going on behind the scene, and now it is time for the birth!
To all our veterans, reserves, and active duty..... I salute you! Thank you for your service. My family has many veterans, including my DH. Today we will go to our granddaughter's school for a ceremony, honoring veterans.

Just a reminder to all Vets. As of about a year or so ago, it is now authorized for all Vets to render a military hand salute during the playing of the National Anthem and I believe at other appropriate times (raising/lowering of the flag, etc.), even though one is not in uniform; a change all Veterans are glad to learn about.
Prayers for those on the list and Blessings on all.
As a veteran, I thank you all for your wishes and I wish all othe veterans a happy day.
I hope that I can handle the new boards.
