Not sure exactly, I am sure Mike will give us the whole scoop later once things have settled down. I have heard a few bits and pieces, but nothing conclusive about what exactly happened. I created a new username and password because my usual one didn't work. I am sure once it all shakes out, it will be nice.
Well there ya go. Mike and I posted at the same time. Glad it is all back up. It's been tough on me to go for over two weeks without reading and posting then to come home and no Cruisemates... That is just wrong I needed a CM fix badly!
Mike I even reset the password, and it wouldn't work either, even when I cut and pasted it from the reset email. I did email you at 'customer-service@cruisemates.com' but decided to just create a new profile because I have a very short attention span lol. There's no rush to fix it. I think you are going to be up to your eyeballs in alligators for a while with this so once the dust settles we can fix it. It's all good. Just glad to be back with my peeps!
After cruising around the site, I noticed that you've answered this question several times already....
It's gunna take a little while to get used to where everything is, and how to use this new format. As you may have noticed, I don't always adjust well to change.....!
We are really sorry - this has been a real nightmare for all of us - apparently it isn't just Cruisemates that is affected - something terrible happened with many Internet Brands web sites - and they aren't talking about it yet because they haven't solved it yet.
IN any case - don't even bother trying to change your password and re-logging in - that process is not working. if you really want to get in you can easily log in using Firefox.

Having been in the wacky and wonderful world of IT since punched cards and IBM 360 mainframes (I still have a green card - and those who have been where I have will know what I mean - and it doesn't have anything to do with immigration) I can appreciate the nightmare you have just gone through.
I had ( am am still having) the same userid/password recognition issue that BW had. I reregistered also.
It's not a big deal, believe me, and I will keep trying every few days with the old info.
The good news is that the site is back ! Talk about withdrawal sysmptoms !!!!
Thanks to all of you who converted the site and fixed the gliches. I hope you didn't have to live on machine coffee and peanut butter Nabs.....
