Default It's Tuesday

We'll try this a second time. Had a whole new Tuesday intro written and when I posted it the site crashed again Didn't know I was so powerfull

Nothing on tap save yet another Dr.'s appointment. They're having a terrible time with my Pro-Time INR (blood thickness) and I'm totally disgusted as to yet to be getting my third cardioversion. I've almost resigned myself that I'm not coming out of Atrial fib and therefore will go through life feeling 35 years older than I do. At least at somepoint, the twain shall meet

Prayers continue for Judy, Delft and her mother and sister, Phyll, Venice, Luanne and Jim as well as anyone else suffering illness or travail. Also accompanying the aforementioned are requests for blessings on everyone.

Maybe this post will be the charm. It's good to be back to "normal."

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Todd

Good morning, Todd, and the others to follow.

I always knew you were a powerful man! Wow!

Today was one of those days that I awoke about 5:00, so I just gave up and got outta bed. I have an appt at 8:00 for a haircut, even though I don't need it. I know all the guys just love that kind of logic. I will be away from home for about a month, and I figure it's easier to get a quick trim, rather than trust someone else to cut my hair the way I like it.

Lots to do before leaving home, and DH may be making a quick roadtrip to Miami. Friends need an additional driver for a business trip. This would probably be a good thing for me. I see me getting lots done while he is gone!

Prayers for those in need.

Make it a good one!

Good Morning all from central Connecticut !

The weather here is seasonable, with the high expected to be in the 50's.

A few errands today and Mrs. S has a hair appointment. I also need to pick up some of the dry cleaning we had done after our Infinity cruise last month. Probably have to arrange for a home equity loan to pay for it - !

Has anyone heard from RollerDonna? I am sort of surprised she hasn't checked in, and maybe the site having some issue contributed to that. I am anxious to hear how she likes Constellation, our favorite ship to date.

..and after just over a year of being unemployed, I have an interview for a position tomorrow, and it looks like a good fit - no, it's not playing Santa at the local mall. It's with the company I was working for when my position was shipped off shore, and my old manager actually called me and said to apply. So I did and I will be interviewing with her manager, and then with her and another person I worked with.

I hope it works out, because I was not quite ready to hang it up. Although I will admit being home does have its benefits.

Continued prayers and best wishes to all as we all prepare for the Holidays which are fast approaching.

Take care all....

Hi Kids,
This week around here continues to be grand. I remember one winter here, when el Nino, gave us a winter in which, I never wore a winter coat..imagine! That won't happen this year, but I can dram, can't I?

Today is a Luciana day, so Spongebob it is! While, she naps I can read a bit..I am enjoying my Kindle, and the ease of it all, especially getting a new book in seconds. I am still a library hound as well..I need another head to double dip

Darlene, I had a haircut yesterday. Went a bit shorter, this cut. I needed a change..maybe I will go blond..ya never know with me

Good thoughts to all, and make it a good one. PS..the screen & print seems much sharper,no?

Good Morning CruiseMates!
Greetings from Laundry land! Repairman will be here Thursday. I was offered to exchange my washer but the soonest they could get a new one here would have been 3 weeks from now. Which I will not be going 3 weeks without a washer... So I guess they can continue to fix this thing every couple of months for the next 3 years then I will go buy another washer from a different company...not Sears. The gal refused to fix the washer then replace it in 3 weeks which might have helped me out. If it breaks one more time between now and April I am entitled to a different one anyway due to the extended warranty I purchased. So anyhow that's just silly.

I don't know why I cannot sleep while I am on vacation. But since we've gotten home, I am sleeping like a rock. It feels so good to get a good nights rest.

The weather is miserable and yucky today. Kind of depressing but what's a girl to do? I guess this might be a good time to go look at some pictures and relive the sunny days we enjoyed in the last few weeks. I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. Time passes way too quickly.

It's good to be back on the boards and to reconnect with all of you. Hope everyone is doing well. Prayers being sent out to those of you in need. Hang in there folks!

The sun is up and so am I, although I didn't get online as early as some of you. I have put the grandaughter on the bus, Hubby out the door to work, a load of laundry going, so I can enjoy reading up on what everyone has been doing.
I got to see a beautiful sight here this morning. The sun was shinning to the East but dark clouds to the West. It begain to sprinkle just a little and as I was looking out the window there was the most beautiful rainbow strecthing across the sky. God is a great painter! The rain has passed and now just sunshine. Only wish it would stay like this until about May then warm up...I too can dream can't I?
Today I will be taking my Mom to the eye doctor. She is having some problems with one eye and they are working to get it fixed. Will stop by school on the way back and pick up my girl as she really hates riding the bus home. She is on the bus for an hour ride and is the last one off. Will surprise her today and get her home early. Need to stop by the grocery and pick up a few items. We are having Thanksgiving dinner with hubby's side of the family tomorrow evening. There are so many that it is impossible to get everyone together on Thanksgiving day so we just do it early and get to eat twice!
Todd- get that blood issue fixed. You need to be able to watch NASCAR and see who wins the chase..my money is on Johnson.
Beanie-good luck with the laundry...it never ends. Glad you had a great trip and welcome back.
Trip- I would like to see what you look like...even if you go blonde!

Prayers continue for all our mates in need. Everyone have a great day.

Good morning everyone:

I slept like a rock, once I got to bed. I was up late into the night doing some stuff on the boards. Once I finished what I intended I was out like a light until, "The Furry One Who Must Be Obeyed" started whining. So I got up and made Betty her breakfast. I hate it when she whines.

Nothing on the agenda for today except a quick trip to Costco.

My hospital appointment went well: I have a new neurologist and he is admitting me to the hospital on December 7 for full monitoring and analysis. Surgery is still not an option but they will need to get all of my current seizure medications out of my system and then introduce different ones to see what helps and what doesn't. I will be in for anywhere from 3 to 7 days. I will also be monitored with audio, video, EEG and vital signs 7x24. I'm betting the pictures hit the Internet in less than week.

Well: I'm back to Boardland to try and figure out some issues, or at least inform others so they can.

Take care and have a fantastic Tuesday
Mike

Good Morning cruisemates! Sitting in my outdoor office (patio) in Scottsdale enjoying missing winter at home. Though night time temps are getting into the 40s. Mid 70s for the day is a nice bounce back.

Mrs. Kuki finally joined me here, and got her major assignment completed the first day... assemblying the patio table (my desk?). She's in shock at the moment as I made dinner last night, and wouldn't let her help... or even toss a salad... or do clean up.

There's a surprise gift coming for her today (an early anniversary gift), so who knows, if I can keep this up I may get lucky by Thanksgiving

Good morning everyone from a cool but sunny Texas.

I woke up this morning knowing that it was going to be a good day. I realized yesterday that I have not cried since last Wed. That is a great step for me.

Jim is so ready to come home. He is ending the tour with not much to do, and believe me, he is not the do nothing type person. It is driving him crazy.

We have discovered that we can play games together on the net. It is so much fun to do things with my love, without him being here.

Josh and I are trying to decide what to do about Thanksgiving. I would rather pretend it didn't happen, but he is looking forward to it, so I must pretend. I do a lot of that these days.

Todd thank you for including us in your prayers. Please stay well.

Darlene, Where are you going this time?

BW, I also have a new washer, with that big seal, and everytime I look at it, I think of you.

Doug, so glad to see you posting

Mike, Take care of yourself.

Kuki, I am so glad that your little piece of Heaven is coming together. Do you picture yourself becoming a full time resident of Az?

Have a great day everyone.

Luanne

Default It's Tuesday

Good morning from Southern California, albeit, late. Another warm, sunny day on tap.

Darlene and Trip, my hair has completely grown back in, and now it's curly! Quite a change after stick-straight hair. I won't go to a hairdresser until just before my cruise. It's certainly easy to care for; just keep it clean.

Not much planned today. The laundry fairy is here, too. I really like my new machines.

Todd and Mike, the best of luck with your procedures.

Have a good day, people. It's really nice to be back on with everyone.

Judy
