Good morning Cruisemates and all the ships at sea!
As I said in response to yesterday's post (that I posted in the evening), it's off to Johnson City today for more blood work. I'm so hoping they'll do something before Thanksgiving so maybe I can enjoy more than just sitting in a chair. Of course that's not so unbearable if I'm in arm's reach of the Samuel Adams.
I'm trying to talk Fran into going to Sam's Club today while we're in Johnson City. I don't want anything there though. It's just that we have to pass by Barnes and Noble to get there.
Hope my energy level is better later on 'cause I have to get out there and grind up some more leaves. Not nearly as many as there were, though. The winds came and most are across the street in my neighbor's yard.
Prayers continue for those on the Prayer List as well as any of our Cruisemates who are suffering illness or travail and accompanying those prayers is a request for Blessings on all y'all.
I sure hope the doctors are able to help you get your energy. I know it must be frustrating for you.
My day starts with a wonderful visit to my doctor. Nothing major, just one of those annual appts. After the appt, I have to stop by Macy's (oh, darn!). I went to their one-day-sale and bought DH a new pair of pants. They left the stupid store tag on! The alert sounded as I left the store, I went back in, and the 2nd clerk missed it, too. She told me to just ignore the alert, if it sounded again. It didn't go off again. Go figure. Oh well, I'm sure I need some make-up or something while I'm there! How is that for a positive outlook?
Getting more serious about packing. Seems like I've been saying that for days, but it is really true, now!
Everyone have a wonderful day. Prayers for my CM friends.

Well Darlene good to hear you are taking care of yourself. Hope you have an uneventful appointment and you score some nice stuff at Macy's. Todd I have a yard full of leaves right now. They all fell while we were gone. It has rained nearly nonstop since we've been back. I don't know how long it will be for the ground to dry out so I can get out with the mower and mulch them up. It may snow before I get a chance to get to it. Oh well. If I had a really long extension cord I suppose I could blow them all over into the pasture on the south side, but they'd probably just blow right back into our yard.
Today the long awaited washer repairman should arrive. I am not all hot and bothered about doing laundry, but it has to be done.
Today I have to figure out how to extract money from our medical savings account to pay some bills. I am not sure how that works. I know it is a lot easier to put money in to it, then it is to get money back out of it. I also have to file a claim with our medical insurance for my Doctor's visit on the ship. I was pleasantly surprised to find our health insurance would cover it.
Hope you all have a great day and look forward to seeing everyone's morning posts. Take care and have a great day!
Hi Kids,
Going to be a nice day today, so will be our and about...I need to drive Baby Michael to his Drs. appointment, ans scoot around after that.
Darlene, I had one of those do hickies something we bought at an outlet mall, on Veterans Day. I said after we got to the car..I won't be coming back here any time soon, oy! I noticed it the next day, and coincidentally, a magazine I had just received, had a coupon it it, for this store..I called them and asked them if, for my inconvenience would they give me a credit for the difference...I also found a store closer to me, so I made out....
Todd, I hope things get worked out for you.....and for all our Cruisemates, good thoughts, and make it a good one.

Good morning all you nice people. Aw heck, all you crabby folk too !
My joints are sore this morning so I am limping around. Getting old sucks!
I find myself in need of a palm tree, white sand, a lounger and a boat drink !!
Beenie I don't know about your medical savings account, but for mine I fill in a form and fax it to the administrators with a reciept and I recoup my money in days. Hopefully yours is similar.
Todd, hope you get better soon. Darlene at least you are annual, I get to see Dr Nagsalot, my endocrinologist every two months. He advises me with mathematical precision, whatever weight I lose he wants twice that the next time.
Everyone have a great day!!!
Princess Cays (exactly the setting I would like to be in right at the moment!)

The gorgeous weather we've been having is slowly coming to an end. It's rainy and cloudy today but the temperature is in the upper 40's. According to the local "weather guessers" Saturday is likely to be our last "nice" day and once again temps will go down and rain shall. I just hope the snow stays away. We will be taking a nine hour drive to my sister's in North Dakota for Thanksgiving.
Kramer, the shedding wonder, has kicked into overdrive and each day that I brush him he loses more and more hair. (It looks like a broken bail of cotton, in the yard, when I brush him. There are couple of spots on his haunches that are almost bear. I think "Dr. Daughter" will need to check him out to make sure it's just heavy seasonal shedding. Then again, if he loses all of it then I vacuuming duties will drastically decrease.
Todd: Enjoy the trip and hopefully the wind will blow the rest of the leaves away.
Dar: Good luck at the doctor. My wife hates her doctor. On her last check up he told her that. She was in great health, "For a woman of her age.". She was a bit grumpy after that.
Beenie: I hope that you will be able to enjoy the joy of washing. I would hate not having a washer. Few things bug me more than having a pile of "The Great Unwashed" sitting in the hamper or outside of it.
To everyone: Have a wonderful Thursday and remember it's just one week until we can all blow our diets!! Diet.....what's a diet?
Take care,
Mike

Fran put the Kabosh on B&N. She pointed out that I was in there just last Saturday and used my 25% coupon to purchase Antony Beevor's new book, D-Day. When I pointed out I had another 25% coupon she didn't say a word, preferring to yet her famous withering look speak for her.
The Week gave D-Day a marvelous review. I'm only a third of the way into it but I already will say it's the best book I've ever read on D-Day and I have something like ten or eleven of the best ones.
Don't know the results yet of the Doctor's appointment but I'm so disgusted (not with them, with me) that I don't really care anymore. I'm subscribing to the "One second you're here, the next you ain't" school of philosophy!
