Default Indy or New Orleans??

Both Indy and New Orleans football teams are undefeated. So my poll question is which one will lose first and why? Or do you think both team will remain undefeated?

I think two of those, as they are worded, are correct. They will both be undefeated AND lose the same week in the playoffs.

because there is a "Who Dat" connection for both teams (Payton is from New Orleans), they will both go undefeated and meet in the Super Bowl, which of course the big game will go into overtime and of course the Saints will be the champions because they are having a season guided by destiny

you would expect me to say something different

I'm shocked I thought for sure you would have picked Indy to beat the Saints in the Superbowl. It would be great if both these teams made it to the superbowl. It would be fun to watch.

if they both made it..the person who I would really feel for is Archie Manning..he is the heart and soul of the N.O. franchise and yet he cannot root against his son..the only thing worse for him would be if the Colts played the Giants in the Super Bowl

plus the Colts have won before..the Saints have never even made it to a conference championship title game

plus i have to keep a personal streak going..any NFL city that i have ever lived in has been to the Super Bowl except for New Orleans

Venice,

While nothing is assured, I would be extremely surprised if your streak didn't remain alive. Now when it comes to winning the Super Bowl; I wouldn't even hazard a guess but I have to admit, I have loved the Colts since Henry "Big Daddy" Liscomb was the D-7 Cat Dozer of Defensive tackles. I also loved "The Refrigerator" when Mr. Perry played in Chicago. That's back in the days when they played real football in the "mud, the blood and the beer!"

Fox Sports Sunday pre game show did a feature a few weeks back about the "Fridge'..he is very ill, no health insurance, lost alot of weight and is dependent upon friends/family to do fund raisers for him..Dick Butkus is a cripple, after so many operations, Mike Ditka walks with a limp..I don't know if the good old days of 'real football' and mud/blood/beer should be ammended to include "cripple'...who has a crystal ball to look into the future about the current players and the impact of head concussions

it's funny about the Saints..the diehard, devoted fans are nervous that something will happen to wake them up from the dream because of past failures of the team, however there is actual conversation about cancelling Mardi Gras Parades and Balls WHEN they go to Miami for the Super Bowl the week before Fat Tuesday...WHEN the Saints win, this will become the Mother of All Fat Tuesday celebrations only a week early

Remember when the Patriots went 16-0? That's all.

the Miami Dolphins put a spell on every team that has a chance of a perfect season..however, they never had to deal with a VooDoo spell courtesy of the "Who Dat" nation

You know you don't get to play bottom feeders every week in the playoffs, right? You better hope another team takes down the Iggles, because they have what it takes to break your spell.

heck, i'm worried that the Cowboys might cause problems this saturday night..i think from a coaching perspective, Payton , does a good job of keeping the team leveled week in week out..just as long as the first game they lose is not the super bowl, we will be ok

this is an incredible season for the Saints so no matter what happens the rest of this ride..it's been a great ride..

remember the 69 Mets ?

HAHAHA. Who Dat undefeated? Please don't respond with the bs theory that losing takes the pressure off. That's a load of crap.

It's funny now that New Orleans has lost the poll numbers have shifted quite a bit. Oh well I was hoping both teams could go undefeated. Darren don't forget New England Undefeated until the super bowl. To me if Indy goes undefeated and loses the Super Bowl they haven't achieved the perfect season.

It seems some folks really take their football very seriously. Wow! I am disappointed, I would have loved to see both the Saints and Colts go to the Superbowl undeafeated, but I guess this does makes things very interesting.

I am of course thrilled the Colts are doing so well, since we are so proud of them here in Indiana, but would love to see them play the Saints on Superbowl Sunday.

Right now the AFC team to beat looks like the Chargers. Not sure Indy could beat them right now.

The Saints are toast. They'll lose to hot Carolina next week, making it three straight into the playoffs. Right now, me thinks Philadelphia and San Diego will meet in Miami. That would be a fun game.

WHOOOOAH,,,,WHO-DAT beat dem Saints today????? I can't believe the lowly BUCS beat the Saints. The Bucs must have really "screwed the pooch" with their game plan. They actually looked like a football team the second half. Unbelievable!!!!!!

we should not have lost to the Bucs... however, no matter what happens the rest of the way, this has been some season for my Saints

I guess no one is going undefeated this season. I think the coach made the right decision resting Manning. The Super Bowl and playoffs are more important.

So is keeping your players in rhythm together. They already have one week off coming up. Are you gonna give Peyton 3 weeks off and expect everything to go as smoothly? Bad call. Should have played through that game, and a half of the next game. That strategy fails more often than not.

If he gets injuried your rhythm doesn't matter at all. Cause he is sitting on the bench. Good call that game doesn't mean anything. They are in the playoffs & they have home field avantage. If anything play Manning one or two quarters to keep the "rhythm" good. Then bench him and give the back up the experience he will need in the future.

No Peyton Manning backup will ever need the "experience."

Name a Peyton backup who has ever gone on to a successful career elsewhere in the NFL. Or, name a Peyton backup who's ever been a starter elsewhere in the NFL. Here's the list...

1.
